(Act 2: The Queen's Coming)
As Cynder commanded the creation of the Aparoid Golem, The queen was already moving to attack. Aparoids swarmed the Rural District so swiftly and effectively that over half the population quickly fell to assimilation within the first ten minutes. Buildings were crushed by sheer pressure as slower Aparoids marched forth.
All lucky enough to escape assimilation were soon turned into roadkill by the massive rolling Tank Aparoids. It seemed that the destruction would go unhindered, when a loud cannon shot resound from the area, destroying multiple Aparoids with one shot.
"God, these Aparoids are getting brave, attacking already after so short a defeat and recovering period, its crazy," Chiggar commented, firing more cannon shots. "This is all fine and dandy, me blasting them from my perch, but I can't kill them all before they reach me, and I suck at close combat. I'll need help."

Two shapes suddenly appeared before the oncoming aparoid incursion. Both looked human, one wearing black jeans, a black overcoat, and a gray muscle shirt; the other wearing what appeared to be sleeveless, gray monk tunic with dark-green tunic pants. The glanced at eachother and grinned, then both vanished. Bursts of gravitational energy erupted from random areas on the left, while beam-like blasts of blue energy erupted from the right side.
"Ah, this is fun! I should get out more often!" X exclaimed, in his Zoanoid form.
"I know! You're missing out, man!" Reizus shouted back gleefully.
Next to Chiggar, a humanoid alien appeared out of nowhere. He clicked his mandibles once, then pulled out what appeared to be a long, alien rifle. He set it up on a small stand, then hunched down and started pulling the trigger, blowing aparoids into the air.
"Boom, headshot." Barias muttered, grinning.

"Do you have a fettish for head shots?" Chiggar asked Barias, "Anyways, thanks for coming, this'll help out immensely." The Villakroma resumed firing at the Aparoids, slowly but surely reducing their numbers.
Five advanced mortar aparoids (OOC: If you don't know, they're gray instead of purple, and fire four homing shots, not to mention the have tougher armor) converged behind X, each unloading four missiles that impacted on the Zoanoid's back. As he fell, soldier Aparoids swarmed, dashing past and slicing into X's tough skin.
Meanwhile, arieal beetle Aparoids swooped in on Barias and Chiggar, shooting at them. Their wild firing made them miss Barias, but Chiggar, being a big target, wasn't so lucky, her carapace was bombarded by enemy fire, but she shrugged it off, aimed her cannon high, and shot them out of the sky. More beetle Aparoids soon swooped in on them, preparing to fire again, more precisely then the previous wave.
Meanwhile, a soldier aparoid sacrificed itself to stop Reizus' movement by hurling itself at him. The Aparoid was broken into pieces, but it did knock Reizus over, where advanced mortar Aparoids prepared to fire upon him.

"Oh HELL no." X growled.
He stood up, grabbing one of the Soldier aparoids that had just struck him, and crushed its head with a single hand. He threw it full-force at one of the advanced mortar aparoids, breaking through it's force field and making both unlucky aparoids explode. His eyes glowed as large amounts of smoke began issuing forth from his maw, enveloping a good 50-foot radius and blocking him from sight. Aparoids began exploding here and there as X dashed through the smoke, unhindered by its effects.
Meanwhile, Reizus bounced into the air and started launching off Hadouken-blasts, wiping out more of the aparoids forces, a dozen or so at a time. He started breathing heavily, and muttered,
"I may have to use it, but if I do... I'd go kaput permanantly."
He shrugged and fired off another Hadouken. Barias, meanwhile, pulled out an ovaloid-looking device with a glowing orange dot at either end. He pressed a button on one of the ends and caually dropped it as it created a forcefield around himself and Chiggar, blocking the Beetle Aparoid's shots completely. The shield lowered, and Baraias muttered happily,
"I think I need a bigger gun."
He swapped his sniper rifle out for what appeared to be a massive yellow bazooka, and he loaded something that looked almost exactly like rods of plutionium into it before snapping it shut and hefting it onto his shoulder. He aimed it at the beetle aparoids, then, right after he pulled the trigger, the cannon fired out a large sphere of green energy, which impacted and created a large, 20-foot explosion of the energy.

"Thanks for the save, even if you had to protect yourself, too" Chiggar said, blasting the advanced mortar Aparoids.
More Beetle Aparoids flew in, one of them body slamming Reizus into the ground. Soldier aparoids converged on Reizus, as the beetle aparoid that knocked him down self destructed. The soldier aparoids used the forelimbs in an attempt to carve Reizus open.
Mini-Tank aparoids charged into the smoke, their more mechanical properties meaning they were also unaffected by X's smoke. They flipped to thermal vision and surrounded X, unloading the machine guns on the Zoanoid.
Mortar Aparoids glared at the 'sniping' duo, before firing on them, damaging the ground they were on sufficiently that it became unstable. With Chiggar's massive body, it only took a few seconds for it to collaspe, with both of them on it.
And the ground started to quake somewhat, as if something was burrowing beneath it...

Baraias pulled himself from the rubble, clearly not amused. He proceeded to unload with the Fuel Rod Cannon, wiping out the Mortar aparoids that struck the foundation he was previously on.
"Yo! Get your ass up and fire!" Barias yelled to Chiggar.
X merely scowled, and just as the bolts were about to hit, he activated his leviation ability and backflipped into the air, the tank aparoid's shots all striking one another instead. His fist crackled with gravitational energy as he slammed it into the ground upon landing, blowing up any nearby aparoids, while doubling the weight of those who survived. X glanced at his chest and smirked, muttering,
"It's churning. I just gotta give it a bit more time."
Reizus grabbed one of the forelegs about to cut into him, and threw the aparoid into its nearby allies. He bounced into the air, glaring at the parasitic army. He pondered using the Final Hadouken, and shook it off. He whipped out Roninsong and dropped from the sky, dashing through the army at speeds well over 80 mph, cutting through the aparoid menace as he sped along. Any aparoids attempting to jump in his way were smashed, and any aparoids attempting to shoot him would only miss and strike their allies. Reizus continued his speedy assault as he began sweating, gasping,
"Come on... I just need a bit more energy..."

That's when it happened. Directly in front of Reizus, a large white shape erupted from the ground, it's armor resisting the force of Reizus' flight and repelling him. It rose up higher, until it was completely out of the ground. Its body was seemingly humanoid, clad in brilliant silver armor. Where its feet would be, a base with a cluster of spikes protruded outward. The underside had four insectoid eyes and what looked like a 'door' of sorts inbetween.
Chiggar, who had unfortunately landed on her back, screeched, "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?" The beetle rocked back and forth until she managed to get enough momentum to flip back to her feet. Chiggar growled, firing at the strongest Aparoids around, save for the large one that just emerged.
The Queen had arrived, and now the distract was practically doomed to being assimilated.
"Cease this futile resistance. Join us, be one with perfection!" the queen bellowed, spreading the six wings on her back.
"No one in hell I'm giving up my free will, you creeps are almost as bad as those things that destroyed my home." Chiggar growled again, firing five cannon shots at the queen. The detonated, but the queen's armor was barely affected.
"...Uh... That ain't good..."

X scowled at the arrival of the Queen, glancing at his chest.
"damnit! Still not ready!" He growled.
He fired off a barrage of gravity bolts at the Queen. It didn't get through her armor, but that wasn't the point. The Queen's weight had just doubled, making it harder for her to hover somewhat. He smashed his fist through a nearby mortar aparoid's abdomen, then picked it up and threw it into a group of oncoming beetle aparoids.
Reizus just stared, open-mouthed at the Queen. He shook it off and growled,
"So, the source, eh? Might as well find out!"
He fired a Hadouken dead at the plates covering her front, breaking through one of them. He blinked in surprise, then shouted,
"Keep blasting those plates on her front!"
Barias nodded and fired another Fuel Rod at the weakened spot, breaking through another plate. He smirked, then started unloading like a madman on the aparoid battalion, hurling glowing blue grenades into their midst, which would stick to an aparoid and explode violently shortly after.

The queen looked down at her damaged plates, uncaring. Her 'wings' began to glow, as thousands of beams of light lance from it, attacking every non-Aparoid being in front of her. These two were Chiggar and Barias. Chiggar's eyes widened, and she jumped infront of Barias, taking the entire attack on herself. The Villakroma cried out in pain, and as the attack ended, she collasped, bleeding badly.
"damn..." Chiggar cursed. She'd be helpless now.
The queen didn't care, she turned to X and Reizus, firing another barrage at the two of them.

"BAD MOVE!" X roared, the temperature dropping rapidly.
He ripped open his chest to reveal the Inferno Cannon, which glowed just as the light-lances were about to hit. The beam tore out of its confines and enveloped the light lances, slamming into the Queen's front, disintergrating the plates on her front. The beam died down, and X closed his organic plates, looking back at the Queen. There, on her 'stomach' was a large red, gem-like structure.
"Go for the red spot!" X boomed.
Reizus nodded, his hair lifting. A burst of silver-white energy flared around him as he entered his empowered state, cupping his hands. A red light shone from within them, and he shouted,
"FINAL HADOUKEN!"
The blast shot forth with as much strength as X's Inferno Cannon, striking the Queen dead in the red area. Barias gasped at Chiggar as she collasped, then stepped in front of her and fired his remaining Fuel Rod Cannon shots into the red area as well. The firing stopped, and the two paused to see if they had done anything...

The queen screeched, and the smoked parted to reveal that the gem had been cracked badly. Chiggar managed to lift her head enough to get about Barias and fired one last cannon shot.
The Villakroma's head fell back to the ground, the body seemingly lifeless.
The cannon shot hit the gem, breaking off a few chunks. A chain reaction started, making the entire gem fall away. The queen would have scowled if she could, as the two plates covering it regenerated to protect her body.
"Very well, join this pitiful race in death!" the queen roared, firing more light lances. Eggs seemed to form behind her, as if summoned. Something could be seen growing inside each egg, and fast.

Barias's eyes widened when he saw Chiggar go lifeless, and he growled. He threw his ammoless Fuel Rod Cannon to the ground and pulled out two metallic blue, ovaloid rifles.
"KEEP BREAKING THE PLATES!" He screamed to X and Reizus.
Speaking of those two, they weren't feeling their strongest. Most of Reizus's energy had been drained from that last attack, and X's Inferno Cannon always drained and damaged him whenever he used it...
But the two rose to their feet, X firing gravity bolts at the eggs behind the Queen, blowing them up, while Reizus fired off his last Hadouken at the plates, blowing a few of them off. He was spent; all he could do now was melee. X growled as he shot down the last of the eggs, then focused his fire on the plates as Barias did the same with the rifles, which seemed to fire out small blue lasers like a machine gun.
"We need backup, and soon..." X muttered grimly.
((*Starts playing 'SOS' in the background*))

(OOC: Lets assume some time has passed between my most recent post and now)
"Spirit Rocket!" Solranous bellowed, firing a blue fire sphere. The sphere impacted with the plate, shattering it, though it seemed to start growing back almost immediately. Solranous, undaunted, launched more Spirit Rockets, breaking through the plates and revealing the cavity left from the gem.
"Die!" The queen roared, firing her light lances at Solranous. The dragon attempted to shield against the attack, but the last three light lances got through his barrier and hit him, causing his blood to spill out.
"YARGH!" Solranous cried, falling to the ground. Aparoids began to approach him, ready to swarm to assimilate or kill the dragon, which one was known only to the Aparoids.
"Urgh, so much fighting... even I'm wearing out... Why?" Solranous muttered, trying to get back to his feet. It was difficult, his body was starting to give out on his mind. Was this the end?

Barias was about to throw a grenade when a trumpeting roar echoed from the sky. Shive came out of the clouds, Hakaisha's Shikai form clutched in his claws. He spotted the opening, whcih was starting to get covered by the plates again.
"I assume I go for that?!" He asked.
Barias, X, and Reizus nodded, and Shive nodded, smirking. He made a made-dash for the hole, and just as a plate was about to cover it, Shive screamed,
"KAI!"
The blade ripped forth and struck the plate, smashing it, and was followed by Shive's Cyclonic Blast. The attack struck dead-center of the hole, the pressurized wind, ravaging the Queen's insides. Shive floated in the air, firing a lightning bolt at a group of aparoids converging on X and Reizus. Meanwhile, as the aparoids were about to converge on Solranous, a glowing blue sphere landed on one of the beetle aparoid's heads. They all stopped and glanced at it before it exploded, taking a few of them out.
Barias's camoflauge was turned off as he appeared on one of the aparoids, blasting at the others with his plasma rifles and roaring angrily. He put one of the rifles away as he landed before Solranous, drawing forth what appeared to be a two-bladed weapon, both blades curving forward and made of blue energy. He ripped clean through one aparoid as he blasted another, making a clearing. He quickly grabbed Solranous and ran through the crowd, shooting madly to open a path.
"Name's Barias. I assume you're on our side? Or... at least, against them?" Barias asked.

Before Solranous could answer, the queen screeched in pain, backing away from Shive. The humanoid body slumped over, dead, yet the queen's body was still moving. Ground based aparoids latched on to the spikes jutting from the queen, while all air-based aparoids help the queen rise higher into the air. She was retreating like Cynder had.
"You will not live long enough to regret this!" the queen's voice declared, even though the body seemed dead.
Solranous blinked, wondering what caused her to escape in such a manner.
"An... unexpected turn of events..." Solranous commented, "Anyways, Barias. I am on your side... You seem to know a lot about these things from what I've been able to glance off. Does everything these 'Aparoids' infect become a tint of purple?"
