A silver truck b-lined down the street, screeching to a halt in front of Solranous's place. The door was thrown open, and a very pissed-looking Garret stepped out, holding a video tape in his hand as he walked over to the door. He rapped his knuckles on the door, his expression still hard as steel as his eyes wandered down to the tape, then at the surroundings, then back to the door. He tapped his foot, getting impatient. He knocked on the door again, a bit harder this time.
What is taking them so long?! Is there anyone even here?! He thought.

The door opened after a short while and Kisara stood at the entrance.
"Sorry for the delay, I've been having to take care of some one. But please, do come in." Kisara welcomed, moving out of the way to let the teenage Guyver in.
She was worried about Myrr, she was still comatose and the lack of nutrients she was getting was beginning to show on her form... If only Solranous were still there, he would be able to help...

Garrett nodded in thanks, yet his expression did not change. He glanced around, then placed the video on a nearby table.
"I suggest when Solranous gets back, you and everyone else you can round up, watches that. You may find it... interesting." He stated, trying not to grit his teeth.
He violently shook from sheer rage, then began to head for the door, hands clenching into fists as his right eyelid twitched.

"We can't, Myrr's in a coma from an attack by Khimera, she has been for nearly a week. I don't know how she managed to live through it, even with Solranous' help, but if she wakes up in time, she'll be in no condition to help at all." Kisara responded, making Garret pause.
"I know her, she'll want in on this too, but we can't take her because she's too badly weakened."

Garrett stopped, then his hand slowly slid off of the doorknob.
"Khimera? Who's that?" He asked, glancing over his shoulder.
The organism used to call forth the Guyver suit suddenly pulsated, and Garrett's eyes widened.
"What the hell?" He muttered, touching the spot on his back.
It had been doing that quite a bit lately, for roughly a week...
What is wrong with this damn thing? He thought.

"Good, he hasn't gotten to you yet, I don't know if that's a good thing, or a bad thing, but he seems human, only he can morph himself into various other beings, mostly those whose DNA he's copied, I don't know how much he has, but he could potentially be stronger then Tarasque, who Solranous told me about at one point. Please, whatever you do, don't let him see your Guyver suit, or he may try to take DNA from you through it and gain its abilities, but I'm not sure how it works. it doesn't matter, don't let him see the Guyver suit." Kisara warned, terror in her eyes.
"He has Solranous' strength, at the very least, and mental abilities, and he can, as I heard from Solranous, disguise himself as some one you know to try and lure you in or freeze you from fear or surprise. He's deadly, he's no human being, but a super beast. I dopn't know what to compare his strength to, because I don't know how strong he is. Only Solranous or his other victims could tell you how strong he is, but if you see him and he changes, turn the other way and run." she shuddered at the thought of what Khimera could do... she didn't want to find out just what limits, if any, that he had.

Garrett blinked.
"Wow... that bad, huh?" He muttered.
The name 'Tarasque' hit his ears, and his chest suddenly hurt as he recalled the last time he had seen the beast. Those four others... they had died helping him kill off that accursed Hyper Zoanoid...
The Guyver still felt guilty about their deaths, knowing he could've done more and not just let them die fighting his fight. This didn't improve Garrett's mood, merely worsening pissed to morbidly depressed.
"Well, if I see him, I'll be sure to flight instead of fight." He muttered.
"So, uh... where is Solranous, anyway? On another mission of good will, I suppose?" He asked.
* * * * *
Outside, a green chitinous figure landed on the opposite roof. He held a wriggling blue wyrmling within his left claw, who kept thrashng about in a fruitless attempt to escape. Draethik scowled, then tightened his grip on Mortis, growling,
"You should be glad I'm letting you do this..."

"Yeah, he overheard some his mechanical allies talking of another being taken captive, so he lent his power to aid in the rescue mission... but I get a very bad feeling it turned out badly." Kisara responded... and a scratching noise drew both of their attentions to the source.
Unbelieveably, Myrr had just woken up from her coma, but her entire body, including her scales, were much more pale, and she herself, Kisara dared to think, looked frail, as if trying any movement could make her snap a bone. She had both of her arms supporting her upper body on a nearby counter, and even then, she was only dragging her feet to move.
"Myrr! You shouldn't be up! Please, get back to bed!" Kisara ordered of the half-dragon but, defiant as she was, stubbornly refused.
"I can't... I've got... to do something..." Myrr whispered hoarsely. That's when Kisara took her by the arm and forced her to back to bed. Being weakened as she was, none of her fighting could persuade Kisara otherwise. Myrr reluctantly laid back down, muttering how she hated being weak. Kisara sighed.
"I'll bring something in for you soon." she told the half-dragon before returning to where Garrett was.
"I'm sorry about that... she gets her stubornness from Solranous..." Kisara offered as her apology for Myrr's foolishness.

Garrett smirked, waving it away.
"Eh, being stubborn can a good thing. I myself should know." He stated.
He paused as a shadow blocked the light from one of the nearby windows, and he turned just in time to see Mortis crash through it, landing forcefully with a pained grunt. He stood up shakily and glanced at Kisara and Garrett, fear and pain apparent on his muzzle.
"Wh-who're y-you?" He asked Garrett, in a strained tone.
"Uh... name's Garrett. Who're you?" He replied.
"M-Mortis." The wyrmling stuttered.
Mortis glanced over to Kisara as his eyes watered over.
"I-I only have a short amount of time to say g-goodbye... he's waiting outside for me..." He muttered.
He picked a piece of glass out of his wing, wincing against the pain.
"Who's waiting outside for you?" Garrett asked.
Mortis pointed outside, and Garrett looked through the window, only to pale when he saw Draethik.
"Er... kinda scary-lookin'." He muttered.
Mortis looked back at Kisara, and asked,
"C-could you tell everyone else I said goodbye when you see them? Please?"

"No need, because your not leaving with him." Kisara said to Mortis, determination in her eyes, before she put two fingers in her mouth and whistled. Onyste trudged to them after making a quick visit to Myrr's room and picking her up, using her mag energy to keep her on.
Kisara picked up the wyrmling in one hand while she mounted Onyste's saddle.
"Ok girl, I know this is a lot for you, but please, I need you to run as fast as you can, we have to get away from that creep up there, or we'll all suffer badly for it."
Onyste nodded, and bolted when everybody was secure. Not bothering to wait and open the door again, she simply crashed through it and started gallopping down the street and was quickly approaching 200 M.P.H... but it was slow enough for Draethik to see that Mortis was with them.
((Azure: Run like the wind Bulls-eye!
Kisara: Her name's Onyste...
Azure: I know, I just wanted to say that.
Kisara: And you know, its about time I'm the one whose doing the heroic work, with the help of my partner of course.
Onyste: *grins*))

The astral fiend merely shook his head, flexing his wings.
"Oh please..."
He suddenly appeared in the street before Onyste, and just as she was about to impact, Draethik outstretched a claw aimed direclty at the group. Onyste suddenly stopped abruptly, as did everyone else but Mortis. Draethik lurched forward and snatched the wyrmling before walking off to the side, then flexed his claw. Onyste went back into motion, rushing down the street with one less passenger.
"Wonder how long it'll take 'em to realize he's missing." Draethik muttered.
He glared at Mortis before grabbing both of the wyrmling's back legs, then snapped the young dragon's hind-legs. Mortis cried out in unbearable agony, and Draethik swatted his across the face, knocking him out with a large bruise on his face.
"Shuddup." He growled.
(Draethik: *holds up watch, counting down realization time*))

Not long, for a certain 7-ton False Dragon slammed into him at maximum speed, boosters and ramming gear included, stopping suddenly after the jarring impact, which to their surprise had knocked Draethik unconscious, if only for a few moments. Kisara looked around, before Onyste clued her in to where the blue wyrmling was, and she used a mag stream to place him back in her lap.
Whether Draethik knew it or not, Kisara could feel when telekinesis was in use on her, thanks to the constant exposure Solranous gave to her, saying it would help one day, and it did, surprisingly enough.
"Well, if he stop us before we get out sight by running, we have to use a smokescreen." Kisara concluded, raising her hand up as it began to glow. It also appeared as if claws were forming off of her fingers as the energy built up.
'A Mag Escape with this amount of energy will get us far, luckily with all the energy I've been storing, I can take the drain.' Onyste commented.
"Remind me never to scold you for being lazy again." Kisara replied, before swiping her 'clawed' hand down just over the saddle's 'console.' They seemed to fade out of existance like a mirage as they bolted again, undetectable to almost all beings for as long as the were within the cloud of energy, which was a surprising distance in circumference, thirty meters. Kisara had to metaphorically pat herself on the back for a job well done, for there was no chance of Draethik catching them now.
(OOC: Do you just live to try and make Kisara look like she's just a burden? True, I made her into a damsel in distress once [I'm still beating myself up over that, so cliche'], but come on! If she gets to be the knight in shining armor a few times, I don't mind if a lot of other times she's worthless and just sits on the sidelines, cheering the full-on heros from afar. You know i'm not gonna just let Draethik take Mortis like that, which is why the bad guys should never let their captives have a final word of good bye. They never know when some one's going to play hero/heroine.)

((Well excuse me for playing a villain by his personality. He's not exactly the brightest abberation out there... and no, I do not live to berate other player's charries; hell, I believe Kisara should get her time to shine, as should all charries.))
Draethik snarled, fists clenching. While he had gained mutiple new abilities after his transformation, he had lost his telepathic ability since Dogolas was vanquished... and that made it a bit harder to find people. He'd just have to try again later. For now, he had other matters to attend to.
"Annoying little runts..." He growled.
He seemed to disintergrate into the air, leaving nothing behind.
((End thread?))
