Shive was busy nailing 2x4 boards over the windows of his home for multiple reasons. One, he didn't want to see those three kaiju fighting off in the distance, and two, he didn't want anyone intruding on what he was preparing to do. His expression was grim, and his armor missing; however, there was a small ring on his hand that seemed to be the same exact coloration and appearance of his full-plate.
He finished with the windows, and moved over to the door, his scowl deepening.
I wanted to say it properly to her... but it seems this is for the best. I shouldn't bother with telling anyone anyway. He thought.
He finished the door and stopped in the doorway, then sighed, head drooping.
I finally have the power to do it... but without the proper preperations, the b*stard will just respawn...
...
hence why these kind of sacrifices must be made. He finished, face hardening.
I just hope the others don't show up. I'd hate to have to explain this. He thought, swinging the door open wider.

(OOC: I was intending to make my own thread, but I wasn't sure if I would be interrupting anything)
However, fate had deemed it necessary for an intrusion, young Cynder, panting from the long flight, finally landed when she saw Shive, ignoring the preparations he was making.
"Phew, it took me a whole day to find ya, Shive... I... kinda need you to come with me, a certain some one who is your acquiantance wants to talk with you..."

((Oops, sorry. Just tryin' ta be helpful))
Shive paused, his scales starting to stand on end. He hunched into himself before shooting Cynder a nasty glance over his shoulder.
"Nope. Sorry. Some other time; I'm busy." He stated flatly.
He walked inside and slammed the door shut. He didn't bother to nail the door shut; he hoped that was enough to get Cynder to go away. He sighed, running his claw through his hair, before walking over to the center of his house. The mattresses on the floor had been pushed to the walls to make room for whatever Shive was going to do. Making sure no light was showing into the warehouse, he nodded, and got down on both knees, scratching something on the floor. Red, dimly glowing runes began to glow where he scratched, and he stopped when he had created a 5-foot circle.
He shakily stood up, hoping this'd work...
((And no, you aren't interrupting anything. I had been planning this scene for a while...))

"WAIT! THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!" Cynder yelled, sighing. He did say she may have to use it, so she figured she might as well get it over now.
"It's Thanatos who wants to see you... and he said, because of my Hollow half, that he'd kill me right in front of you unless you came... I didn't want to but I kinda, you know, don't want to die yet..."

Shive blanched, hearing the threat. He sighed, biting his lip.
I suppose now would be the best time to start doing it... but that doesn't mean I won't regret it. He thought.
He turned his head over, and gave her an intensly cold stare.
"Not my problem. Tell Thanatos he can go back to Hell; I've had enough of that d*ck." He stated, voice icy.
"Now, if you don't mind, this is something children shouldn't have to see." He muttered, dragging something towards the circle.
A human cadaver.
He placed it on the circle, and began to chant in a deep, spidery language that made Cynder's ears hurt. The runes began to glow brighter, and the corpse suddenly shot to life... sort of. The flesh was still cold and gray, but the body was animate. Black, crackling energy shot up around it, and Shive tried not to vomit from the intensity of the necromantic force. The corpses's eyes were completely black as it floated slightly into the air. It aimed a finger at Shive, and asked in a deep, haunting voice,
[glow=purple,2,300]"You beckon me for what reason, mortal?"[/glow]
Shive gulped, then stated,
"Orcus, I believe I have a proposition for you. A person I know of is the host of your long-time rival, Arthreonus. I'm here to kill the host, but I know if I do, Arthreonus will bring him back to life. I need you to do me a favor concerning the host..."
The corpse slowly nodded, interested by the name Arthreonus.
"I want you to place a Soul Bind on him, so he doesn't come back. If you do that, Arthreonus will be forced out, and completely vulnerable."
The corpse broke into a sickly grin.
[glow=purple,2,300]"Oh-ho! The Prince of Shadows, vulnerable? You underestimate him. However, he will be weakened by such an event, and I can take advantage of this. For this information, I may not take your soul! Maybe. I shall keep an eye on you from afar, and I shall do my part of the deal when you do yours. Understand?"[/glow]
Shive nodded, and the corpse disintergrated along with the rune-circle. He sighed, strapping Hakaisha onto his back. He glanced back and Cynder and scowled.
"Why haven't you left yet?!" He barked angrily.

"Maybe she doesn't want to die yet." came a voice that made Shive's 'icy' voice look ecstatic. "Hello Shive."

Shive rolled his eyes.
"Frankly, I don't give a damn if she wants to die or not. Frankly, I don't give a damn if you're here with an idle threat to 'kill' me, cause you're a bit late for that." He stated icily.
He pushed the matresses together, made a quick mental scan to see if Calvin was in here, and shurgged, for the familiar was not. He looked at the mattresses, then lit them on fire. He walked calmly out of the warehouse, which burst into flames shortly afterwards. He walked straight past the two, his expression like stone. Cold, uncaring stone.
He spread his wings, and he growled,
"If ANYONE follows me, you'll just get killed. So don't bother."
He bolted off into the air, then twisted the ring on his finger. A brief, dim flash, and his full-plate was sheathed over his form.

"Shive, Shive, Shive. I'm not going to fight you. What would that accomplish? All it would prove is that someone that can't die can kill someone that can." Thanatos stated, warping right in front of him. "No, that's not it at all. The question you should be asking yourself is how much do you care about Cynder? Or Kisara? Or Solranous? Or Myrr? Because I'm pretty sure they'd all be a little upset to find out they were butchered because you couldn't spare five minutes to talk."

Shive scowled, then roared back,
"I DON'T GIVE A F*CK ABOUT THEM! AND I HIGHLY DOUBT YOU JUST WANT TO TALK, YOU EGOTISTICAL ASSH*LE!"
He shoved Thanatos out of the way before accelerating into the sky once more.
I need as much energy as possible for this... He thought.
Luckily, that's why I have my Bankai and Vizard powers... He added, a sick smirk sprouting onto his face before dissapearing.
((Wouldn't you be a bit pissy if you were in his position?))

Cynder's jaw dropped...
This wasn't the Shive she, if only barely, knew...
Then... what was between him and the half dragon? At the party?
"Shive... what happened to you?"

((Yeah, but being in Hell doing whatever your master wants doesn't make you too happy either))
Thanatos appeared one last time in front of him and cloths-lined him, before grabbing and holding him.
"Listen, you insolent prick. I lost everything trying to fight your Hollow side. And I blame you for that. Now, right now, you may not care. But assuming I don't kill you, and assuming you survive whatever it is you're trying to do, your head will clear, and you'll realize that being responsible for everyone else's deaths weighs heavily on your mind." Thanatos said still holding the Dragonkin. "I'm here to offer you a way out of all of this. My lord and master, Hel, grows weary of my presence and wishes for a new servant. If I bring her one, she'll release my soul and I can see my beloved again. But you'll benefit too. Your friends and loved ones won't die, at least not yet, and you'll become a Hellborn. You'll be stronger, better able to fight whatever suicidal thing you have in mind now."
He stared Shive down.
"Do you realize that everything until this point has been about you? Rescuing Myrr from Armageddon, fighting your Hollow, Daedalus. All of it. Your fault. Maybe you should think of somebody else for once." He said letting go of Shive. "You have five minutes to decide. In five minutes, I kill Cynder. Then, every twenty four hours I will kill one of your friends and bring some part of them to show you. Choose now."

Shive's reiatsu exploded outwards, pushing Thanatos back. His teeth all managed to be bared, and he boomed,
"I JUST SOLD MY SOUL TO A G*Ddamn DEMON LORD TO ENSURE MY B*STARD OF A HALF-BROTHER'S PERMANANT DEATH! THERE'S NO WAY IN HELL I WILL COME BACK AFTER THIS! SO GO AHEAD, KILL THEM! I-DON'T-CARE! I WON'T BE AROUND TO SEE IT HAPPEN!"
He whirled around and rocketed off into the distance, becoming a speck in a few moments. Before the dragonkin vanished, however, Hakaisha reached out solely to Cynder telepathically.
He... he doesn't mean those things. He's trying to be a d*ck so everyone will hate him, and...
Her voice broke, and she sniffled.
So he won't be missed when he's gone...
Her connection was then lost, and Shive was gone.
((And now you know...))

'It won't work... They are his friends... They'll probably only remember the good... not the bad... They'll still miss him...' Cynder thought... and then realized Thanatos may very well kill her to prove he would indeed kill them all...
Hoping she wasn't notice, the wyrmling used her claws to try burrowing underground... with minimal success... She wouldn't be able to dig her way far from him, so she made a very small cave and hid in it, hoping Thanatos didn't see her...

The wyrmling then found herself on a large back adorned with wings, a fin, and red scales. Artecaex was deathly silent before he stated,
"The dragonkin's gone. Forever."
He was silent once more as he and the dragoness vanished from view.
((End thread))
