Shive was currently performing pull-ups at his 'house', but in an odd way: He had hooked his feet into the ceiling's rafters, being forced to pull all of his weight upward at a time. His face was kinda red, and he was panting badly. His armor lay in the same corner as before, and his shirt lay on the floor directly below him.
As he pulled himself up, he thought to himself,
I wonder if Cynder'll actually show up... she said she would if she was still feeling bad, and I know she is... cause I suck at pep-talks...
He let out a small laugh, then sighed.
damn, I'm bored... I guess that's why I'm doing this...
His face darkened and fell downcast.
...Instead of practicing on my Vizard training...
That still brought his spirits down whenever he thought about it. Here he had the potential to increase his power immensly, but only for a limited amount of time with bad drawbacks. But that wasn't it. It was the amount of time he could do it for that angered him.
I've trained for a f*cking week, and can only do it for five damn minutes a day...

A knock at the door alerted Shive that he had a guest, and had pretty much already guessed who it was, considering he was only expecting one particular wyrmling to show up.
"Um... Shive? Can I come in?" Cynder asked, pulling her tail around herself, something she always did when she was unsure of or unsettled by something. She didn't dare hope that Shive could find a way to get her back home, she didn't want to have here feelings crushed because the only possible way to get home didn't work...

Shive looked up (technically down), and smirked.
"Ah, please, do come in." He invited the wyrmling warmly.
He grabbed the rafters and shifted himself, loosening his feet, back turned to Cynder. He was now hanging by his arms and started doing pull-ups as he asked,
"How're ya feeling today? Any better?"
He paused, then muttered,
"If I'm butting into anything, feel free to tell me. I apologize in advance."
He glanced over his shoulder and smiled, hoping for a response.

"Pardon the language I'm about to use, but I still feel like a piece of s***." Cynder replied, still looking somewhat downcast.
"So... Um... what was it you wanted to show me... if anything... You were pretty vauge..."

Shive sighed. He hoped what he was going to do worked... he felt sorry for the wyrmling, and he wanted to help in any way he could. He let go and spread his wings, floating down to the ground. He pulled his shirt on and crouched down, attempting to be at an even level with the young dragoness.
"Up for a trip? It may help you feel better." He asked.
He pulled out what appeared to be a small cube made of tan marble and shifted it around in his hands.
"Where I might take you, there are a lot of beings like you. Some of them are young, some of them are old. But they all have one thing in common: They're all good people."
He stood up fully and cracked his back, whimpering a bit at the pain. He shook himself as he held up the cube between his thumb and index finger, showing it to Cynder.
"Hell, there may be people there you knew. I know there's people I knew there, but I'm doing this for you. It all depends on whether or not you want to go. But remember this: You can't live your whole life dwelling on the past, especially for something that wasn't your fault."
He shrugged, staring at her intently.
"Your call. You don't have to if you don't want to; I'm not gonna force you."

...
That's just perfect... People she knew... People who she was sure would at the very least look at her in disgust, And that was on good terms. As a matter of fact, she seemed a bit more crest fallen then before.
"I'll come, but if we see anyone I once knew, I want out, immediately. I... I can't stand to look at any one I knew... because I know I've wronged them all..." the wyrmling sighed and held her head down.
'Why do I think I'm going to make the biggest mistake of my life?'

Shive scowled.
"No, you haven't wronged them, and I'm sure they'd say the same." He stated.
He then sighed, tossing the cube away from him. The cube expanded into a 20-foot square, the inside filling with shimmering gray energy as he aimed Hakaisha at it.
"Cynder, how'd you like to go to Heaven?" He asked.
He grabbed the wyrmling and casually walked through the portal.
