((Reserved for Azure)) Shive landed in the middle of the street, scaring off a drunken hobo nearby. A rumble of thunder echoed through the night, and Shive scracthed his head.
Rain? In winter? Odd... He thought.
A scraping sound caught his attention, and he whipped around to see a large form, slightly larger than his, standing on the edge of a nearby roof. A grin formed off dagger-like teeth spread across the shadow's face, two violet eyes burning through the night. Daedalus landed on the street a few yards away, and twirled his hand around at the wrist.
"Been a while, eh bro?" He mocked.
Shive's growl slowly rose in intensity, then he began shaking with so much rage that nearby windows rattled along with the harmonics of his display of anger. Daedalus merely smirked and asked,
"What's the matter bro? Speechless cause ya miss me so much?"
Suddenly, Raganarok was out of its sheathe and in Shive's hands, the handle wrap rubbing away from Shive's intense grip. Daedalus sighed, then held his hand out to the side, slowly clenching it. Shortly after, a swordlike beam of black, crackling energy outlined in purple formed in his hand. He held it forward, then hissed,
"Looks like Father's Day will be skipped this year. Just like Mother's Day, huh Shive?"
Shive's roar of fury shattered the windows around him as he rushed forward, swinging the massive blade downwards with the intent to split this demon's head in half. However, Shive was repelled as a bolt of lightning ripped through his chest and sent him flying backwards onto the ground, coughing up blood. The bolt had pierced a lung!
"Tsk, tsk Shive mah boy. When will you learn? when it comes to combat, you just don't compare." Daedalus grinned, his eyes widening in glee.
He suddenly stood above Shive and stabbed the balde through his brother's left arm, pinning it to the ground and making Shive scream in agony. Daedalus scowled, then kicked Shive in the head, hissing,
"You're a weak, pathetic bastard Shive! You can't even hold your own in a sparring match against your older brother! It's no wonder everyone around you dies."
Shive's eyes flared open, and he spat forth a stream of acid that splashed directly into his brother's face, hissing and bubbling. The older sibling stumbled backwards and screamed in pain as the acid ate away at his face, then shook it off.
"Oh, I am SO beating your ass for that." He hissed angrily, forming another energy blade.
Shive stood up weakly as he coughed up a stream of blood, his breathing getting raspy and harsh. He pointed Ragnarok at Daedalus, and gurggled,
"You'll pay for the horrbile s*** you've done, Daedalus. I SWEAR ON MY LIFE, YOU WILL SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES!"
Daedalus rolled his eyes, then asked,
"Yeah, I know. You say it all the time, but do you carry it out? No. So in that case Shive, if you don't carry it out, then that means..."
His eyes narrowed as he hunched forward, then hissed,
"Your life is forfeit."
He then rushed forward and uppercutted Shive ten feet into the air, the sound of breaking cartilidge putting a smile on Daedalus's face.

"Sorry Daedalus, I can't let you kill one of my best friends. This one-on-on just turned into a three-on-one." A feminine voice said from behind the older dragonkin. Daedalus, puzzled by the sudden voice, turned around to find...
No one.
"Confused? Or are you so blind that you can't see someone right in front of you? HIYA!" It seemed, to Daedalus, that the very air had punched him with the force of a speeding train. He himself may not have known, but Myrr doubted that the 'other' entity working inside of Daedalus was ignorant as well, and dropped her camoflage. The older dragonkin slammed into one of the buildings, cracking it enough that it threatened to collaspe on him.
"Nor will I allow you to take the life of your brother, Daedalus." a deeper, decidedly masculine voice continued. Daedalus was on the recieving end of a telekinetic uppercut, crashing him through the the building and on to its roof. Solranous as well dropped his cloak, having the same suspicion as Myrr.
"And you don't stand a chance against all three of us together." the two spoke as one.

Daedalus's eyes snapped open, and he looked back, grinning.
"Oh no? Who are you to stop me?"
Shive glanced up at the sound of their voices, and roared,
"I TOLD YOU TO STAY OUT OF THIS! NOW BEAT IT!"
Daedalus stood up and laughed, mocking,
"Oh, so now you have friends that actually protect you now? Geez, you're more pathetic than before!"
He suddenly appeared behind Solranous and slammed both fists into the dragon's collarbone, snapping it and making him collapse. Before Myrr could react, he appeared above her and roundhouse-kicked her into the building, then wrenched her out by the throat, bringing her face up to his.
"And who are you? His girlfriend? Heh. I'm assuming you know what happened to his last one then, right?"
He then slammed her even deeper into the building with at least 5 tons of force behind his fist. His ear twitched, and he whipped around and grabbed Solranous's fist just as it was about to impact into the demon's face. He twisted his arm around, and a shriek of pain emanated from Solranous as Daedalus splintered his forearm with a well-delivered punch.
He then booted Solranous down the street, walking over to his brother. He placed his finger on Shive's chest, and a low roar echoed through the area as the fireball detontated at point-blank range.
"You disgust me Shive. You rely on others to help you, and that is why you fail."
Daedalus broke out into a disturbing grin and added,
"Remember: If you want something done, do it yourself!"
He then slammed his brother down the street with a punch.

Solranous, though, was not fazed for long by the damage, a sickening snap gave way to a pair of somewhat repaired bones. He snarled, an cracked his knuckles, ready to continue the fight.
"Sorry Shive, we are in this together."
Meanwhile, Myrr litterally threw the rubble piled on top of herself off, brushing away the dust.
"That hurt, but I've been through much worse." She said simply. The half dragon charged at Daedalus. She reurned the damage he had inflicted on her father and more with out remorse. Daedalus soon found both of his forearms broken as Myrr then kneed him in his gut much harder then he was expecting, considering he was able to feel most of it through his armor.
"RAGH!" Myrr roared, punching Daedalus in the face again. He didn't get flung back, but that was not Myrr's intention. She punched and kicked over and over, putting all of her strength into each attack. After ten to tweleve hits, Myrr back flipped away.
"Father, take over!"
"Right! Let's go!"
Solranous roared as flames started to build in his maw.
"Magma Rocket!" The dragon fired three consecutive rockets of compressed flame. These struck Daedalus with even more strength then Myrr's barrage of attacks, leaving the older dragonkin somewhat scared by the rockets' explosions. The damage, though, was noticably diminished.
"Hmm... More resistance to fire attacks then expected, this will be tougher then I thought." Solranous mused, before teleporting next to Shive.
"Like I said, we are in this together. Now stop complaining for the help you are getting, you need it more than you want to admit." Solranous stated, and healed Shive's wounds enough that he would be able to fight again. Glancing at Daedalus, who finished recovering from the Magma Rockets, Solranous glared and teleported again, punching Daedalus down and stomping his face into the dirt.
"Sometimes, having friends can get you far Daedalus, farther then you can on your own. you wouldn't understand though, because you've never had any real friends." Solranous jumped off after saying this, and prepped another Magma Rocket to fire the instant Daedalus started to get up.

Daedalus merely smirked as he backhanded the Magma Rocket away from him.
"Bah. They do nothing for you. All anyone needs in life to REALLY get ahead is power. As I'm about to-" He stated before getting cut off.
He coughed as he noticed Ragnarok shoved through his stomach, then ripped to the side, spilling most of Daedalus's vital organs onto the ground. Daedalus looked up in shock to see Shive giving a glare so powerful it would make even teracyn pause. Shive then swung around and shoved the balde through Daedalus's left legs, splitting his thigh in half.
Daedalus tried to react, but was only given a knee into the face that sent him spiraling into the air. As he floated, time seemed to slow down, and Shive cupped his hands as pressurized winds began to coalesce into his palms.
"CYCLONIC BLAST!" He boomed.
The tornado-eqsue blast ripped forth and slammed into Daedalus, sending him even higher into the air and ripping away chunks of armor and flesh simultaneously. The winds dissapated, and the shocked anthro suddenly got his wits back, a scowl forming on Daedalus's face. He vanished, only to appear behind Shive, slamming him through a nearby building.
He followed Shive as his brother flew, then somersaulted just as Shive was about to come to a stop, dropkicking his younger sibling dead in the chest, sending Shive careening into the ground. Daedalus stood at the edge of the crater, blood trickling down his maw as he snapped his right arm back into place, regenerating.
"Disgusting little worm." Daedalus muttered, raising his hand before him.
The palm crackled into life with black-and-purple energy, the as Daedalus was about to fire, he whipped around and shot the blast dead at Solranous and Myrr, which took them by surprise and blasted them halfway through the nearest building. The spots on their bodies where the blast had hit was scorched and grayed, the flesh seeming as if it were decaying.
Daedalus smirked and turned back to Shive as his finger crackled with fire, aiming the appendage at Shive.
"Good bye, my filthy little brother. Say hi to that bitch mother and bastard father of mine."
Shive's eyes flared open, and with a deafening roar, rushed forward and sank his claws into the back of Daedalus's jaw (where the head meets the throat), and spun once, hurling the demon into a building. He then fired off all of his remaining spells into the crater, decimating the top half of the building and making it collapse on Daedalus.
"DO... NOT... INSULT... MY... FAMILY... OR HARM... MY FRIENDS..." He hissed through bared teeth, his eyes burning with unrestrained rage.
Daedalus stepped out of the rubble and shook himself.
"damn.. I'll kill the bastard!" Daedalus hissed, charging forward.
Daedalus! There's no need for you to destroy yourself further! Retreat now and recooperate! Arthronus hissed.
Daedalus merely ignored his inner demon and charged forward towards his brother, who staggered forward a step and leveled Ragnarok with Daedalus. Just as the two were about to impact, Daedalus swerved upwards and booted Shive dead in the throat, sending him sliding backwards. Daedalus hovered for a few moments, then spat out a tooth before muttering,
"We'll finish this next time, when you're not hiding behind your... 'friends'."
He then bolted off into the sky, leaving a spatter of blood on the ground where he left. Shive looked up at the sky after his brother, then stumbled forward after him.
"You-can't-leave-yet-asshole..." He coughed, his glare still plastered on.
He made it about three steps, then collapsed onto his knees. He clenched his fists, doubling over in fury and dissapointment.
I was so close this time... so goddamn close... why fate? WHY? He thought.
Shive screamed into the night, cluthing at the sides of his head.
"DAAAAAAAMNIIIIIT!!!!!"

As Daedalus sped off, he ran smack dab into Thanatos, who had been going towards the sound of battle. Thanatos had spent the last couple of hours flying through buildings, smashing everything in sight, and randomly causing wanton destruction with his weapons. In short, he was was not happy. He had cuts and gashes across his armor where he had slashed himself in painful remorse over his lost love.
But wasn't going to just abandon the only allies, the only friends, he had. Shive had a problem, he had a problem. Though his solution was bound to be much more violent than Shive's. Though, in the case of Daedalus, that might not be true. Thanatos knew all too well what pain and rage can drive someone to do.
"You must be Daedalus," he said, activating his guns.

Daedalus scowled, then before Thanatos knew it, his left arm had been severed, and was plummeting to the ground with a loud 'bang'. He turned back to Thanatos, and grinned, replying,
"Yes, yes I am, tin-man. And you might be... wait, it's on the tip of my tongue..."
He began to crackle with purple flames, and finished,
"Cannon fodder?"
He then rammed into Thanatos, making him slam through the roof of a building and several floors as well. Daedalus then unleashed a stream of black fire from his maw that enveloped Thanatos in an unholy inferno, the flames making Thanatos stiffen a bit as his joints welded together slightly. Daedalus laughed and lifted back into the air, muttering,
"Geez, what's with bro and all of these pathetic meat shields of his?"
He coughed up what appeared to be a piece of lung, grimaced at it, then dissapeared in a burst of violet flame.

Solranous coughed, having taken the entirety of whatever spell Daedalus had thrown at them. Myrr, however, was somewhat spared, apparently his former future self had thought of anything and everything when he designed Myrr's second skin.
"Are you... Alright... Myrr?"
"I'm fine, what about you?" said half-dragon replied.
"I hurt... but I'll live."
"Just what I expected, if your going down, you make sure you try to take your enemy with you."
Solranous chortled at that, Myrr knew him like she knew the back of her hand. Speaking of knowing, he needed to make sure Shive was alright. Slowly, the dragon stumbled back to his feet and walked over to Shive.
"Hey, buddy, you alright? Don't worry about me or Myrr, the two of us are much stronger then we look, armor or no armor."

((Daedalus is the only being in existance who can get Shive to this point of rage.))
Shive didn't hear a word Solranous had said. He was on his hands and knees, clutching the dirt in despair. His hair seemed more ragged then usual, and his eyes lost a bit of luster, now seeming dull and lifeless.
So...CLOSE... why? Why didn't I do it this time? Why didn't I kill the bastard? WHY DIDN'T I AVENGE THEM? WHY DID I LET HIM GET AWAY AGAIN? AFTER ALL HE'S DONE, I STILL DIDN'T KILL HIM! WHY? THE bastard DOESN'T DESERVE TO LIVE! I MADE IT MY LIFE GOAL! AND YET HE GOT AWAY AGAIN! He thought, shaking with fury and dissapointment.
He suddenly let loose a powerful roar bridled with rage, yet... a sense of sorrow to it as well. He reeled his fist back and slammed it into the ground, sending small cracks out from the impact point. He started punching over and over until the blacktop had fragmented and the slams were now making a small crater. Shive's eyes were welded shut and his teeth were gritted together so hard that his gums were bleeding.
He slowly stopped, his breathing getting heavier, until he was silent. His tail twitched, and small, sobbing sounds were now coming from him.

A nearby scream of rage followed a series of building-ravaging explosions that ripped some buildings apart. Thanatos was unhappy. He had just been sucker-punched by a coward-albeit one with a lot of power-and he was still in an emotional rage from losing Saelia. He was not having a good day.
Innocent bystanders were trying to avoid being crushed or blown up in his weapons. Not good.

Shive merely ignored the rampaging Draeger cyborg. He'd get over it. And if he didn't, then he didn't. At this point, Shive didn't care. He slowly rose to his feet and brushed past Solranous and Myrr, not uttering a single word.
He staggered a bit, then took off into the air, completely silent.

That was it. No more. Thanatos broke. He found his arm and flew back to his makeshift home in the mountains. They wanted war? He'd give them war. All of them.
Whether they wanted it or not, Teracyn was coming back.
