(OOC: Sorry about this taking so long... -_-)
True to Armageddon's words, the Aparoids were swarming the city in droves, tearing apart any non-living matter and people that got in their way. Those that were not killed had the luckless fate of being infected by the Aparoids.
They were searching, searching for the last remaining sentient mass of Draethik, and standing atop six of the buildings was a cloaked Armageddon.
"Hrm, this is going to take longer then I thought, and I hate to dissappoint..." the demon snarled, and noticed that a blue fireball was flying at a small group of soldier spider Aparoids, killing them on the spot.
"Bah, I was just making the finishing touches, all these bad guys have a bad sense of timing," Solranous growled, hovering in mid-air. From under the cloak, Armageddon's eyes flashed, and the skies were soon consumed in the swarms of ariel Aparoids. The beetle Aparoids soon fomed in on Solranous, launching their energy blasts.
"Crap!" was the shout Solranous let loose as he dodged the attacks, returning fire.
'Just my luck, me against an army...' the dragon thought wryly.

"HADOUKEN!"
A large blue blast of energy suddenly ripped out of nowehere, taking out several of the aerial aparoids. Suddenly, an entire line of them exploded as something darted between them rapidly, then landed next to Solranous. It was Reizus!
"Um... what the hell are these things?" He asked.
He slammed his fist through one of the nearby spider-looking aparoids, then it exploded from the inside out. Reizus whipped around and Roninsong appeared in his hand, slicing through a larger aparoid.

(OOC: I was going to post this yesterday)
"I don't know! They just came out nowhere!" Solranous replied. As he said that, a giant tank Aparoid bowled over Reizus, flattening him into the ground. A carrier Aparoid dropped an 'egg' which hatched into a strange yellow substance with three legs. It embedded itself into the ground and more soldier spider Aparoids swiftly grew from it.
"SH*T!" Solranous screeched, blasting the hatcher with a Spirit Rocket and cutting off the reinforcements. Another beetle Aparoid blasted him in the back, before ramming into him, sending him to the ground.
Armageddon chuckled at their efforts, as more hatchers landed in the city away from the fighting, producing reinforcements. Small groups of soldier spiders were still searching the city as the battle raged, trying to find the matter that their new master had commanded them to find.
"Is there no end to them?" Solranous inquired, frying another group of Aparoids with his flame breath. That's when he froze, the 'Aparoids' that replaced them, weren't entirely Aparoids.
Humans, infected by the Aparoids, now trudged their way towards the duo, brandishing newly formed claws. Some had their hands transformed into guns, and now aimed them at Solranous and Reizus, having lost their individuality.
"These bugs are like the Borg from that Sci-Fi show!" Solranous realized, "Reizus, whatever you do, don't let them get to close!"

Reizus scowled. Taking one's free will was high on his list of 'Things That Piss Me Off'. He growled as his hair seemed to lift a bit, cupping his hands.
"There's no help for them. HADOUKEN!"
The wave plowed through the zombiefied humans and a few tank aparoids. He rushed forward and kicked a tank aparoid into the air, then spun around and kicked it...
Straight into Armageddon.
Reizus couldn't see the demon, nor did he even know he was there, but he hit him. Reizus's hands became sheathed in flaming ki as he slammed it into one of the mortar aparoids and sent it spiraling down the street, smashing through numerous other aparoids. He flexed his right arm and grinned, stating,
"I've been training lately."
He rushed forward, then into the air and smashed through an aerial aparoid.
((I finally get sound on my Gamecube... and am highly dissapointed by Krystal's voice... T_T))

"So I see," Solranous commented, roasting more Aparoids and, much to his displeasure, infected humans. He was only glad that Kisara had no chance of being among them.
Armageddon grunted angrily. The empowered human had gotten a lucky shot off of him while he wasn't expecting it... That was low on his list of 'Things I Tolerate' and so Armageddon did the most reasonable thing in his mind: Return Fire.
A flare blasted into Reizus from the direction he had kicked the tank Aparoid. Armageddon was still under cloak, but he smirked none-the-less, one cheap shot for another, even if Reizus was ignorant of his presence. Solranous didn't notice the flare, and continued blasting Aparoids and ducking inbetween enemy attack. With his back, turned, he didn't see a tank Aparoid until it was too late and he, too, got bowled over.
"Argh, that's a back cracker alright," Solranous groaned in pain. The dragon heaved himself out of the cement and shook the stars from his head. A carrier Aparoid tried to drop a bomb on his head, but the dragon caught it with his telekinesis and 'returned it to sender.'
While he was doing this, a mortar Aparoid fired a shot at him, catching the dragon's shoulder, who then roared painfully. A beetle Aparoid soon tailed Reizus, firing off energy blasts at the human.

Reizus yelped and ran a bit as the aparoid chased him, then stopped.
"Wait, I should be chasing you!" He yelled.
He turned around and swept his leg upwards, splitting it in half. He grabbed the halves and threw them at the mortar apaorid that shot Solranous, causing it to explode on contact. Reizus thumbed at his nose before flying into the air and unleashing a Hadouken upon a block's worth of aparoids converging on a group of humans. He landed in front of them and screamed,
"GO! GET OUTTA HERE NOW!"
They hastily retreated as Reizus placed his palm on Roninsong's blade, which began to glow shortly after. He waved it upwards, and it left a series of 'after-images' before rushing forward and dissapearing. All aparoids within a 4-block line had been sliced in half, then exploded as Reizus collapsed, gasping.
"Okay... note to self: Do NOT combine Renzouken with Eiojitsu Focus UNLESS IT IS A LAST RESORT." He muttered, staggering to his feet.
Meanwhile, a group of aparoids had stumbled across something: A throbbing mass of dark-red meat with small worm-like tenrdils coming off of it. It was about a foot high at the center, and shrieked as the biomechanical beings came closer.

'Master Armageddon, we've found the target.' came the mental signal from the aparoid leading the group. The demon smirked in response.
"Identify current location." Armageddon commanded. The aparoid replied with a particular number and letter, referring to a grid. [/i]"Prepare for imminent teleportation"[/i] As he said that, the aparoids gathered around the mass, forming a protective grid. Seconds latter, they and the mass were transported to Armageddon's location, and the demon lightly gripped the writhing mass.
"Hmm, this is indeed the object in question. Now, I must go and seal a deal. Remain here and assimilate any living beings in the current vicinity. Destroy everything else." Armageddon spoke.
"As you command, master." the aparoids replied, as the command was sent through the minds of all the aparoids within the city. Armageddon smirked as his cloak receded. A portal opened, and the demon backed through it, still holding the mass.
Meanwhile, Solranous snarled, frying the head of another tank aparoid and then dodging out of the way as the corspe rolled by him, falling apart.
"Just how many more are there? Or is it never-ending?"

Reizus shrugged, bashing in the abdomen of another beetle aparoid.
"I dunno, but we have to get rid of all of 'em. And I think I know a way..." He stated, a smirk slowly forming.
He hovered into the air, a undecided scowl now on his face as soon as he knew Solranous couldn't see him.
I haven't perfected this yet... but it's our only chance... master, I apologize, but it's for a good cause. He thought.
The air around him suddenly flared with a white glow as his hair suddenly lifted up. His muscles tensed, then seemed to expand a bit as his hair stood almost all the way up.
"RYOKU-HADOU!" He screamed.
A burst of energy enveloped him, and he was now sheathed in a silvery-white aura of energy that looked almost exactly like flames. His muscles had expanded slightly, but something else was different about him... one coudln't put their finger on it. He went into a defensive stance as multiple aparoids rushed forward, and he smirked. One moment he was there, the next he was gone. Every aparoid in the street exploded on after another as a blurr shot down the street. Within five minutes, all ground-based aparoids had been annihalated.
Reizus appeared in mid-air, energy crackling about his aura as he cupped his hands. A red light shone between them as he scowled, screaming,
"I DO NOT TOLERATE ENSLAVEMENT OF THE MIND AND BODY!"
The light expanded into a red sphere, of which was the basis for Reizus's strongest attack...
"FINAL HADOUKEN!"
The massive blast of red energy shot out and wiped almost all of the airborne aparoids as he swept it to the side, disintergrating the flying menaces. The blast dissapated as two or three ships were left, and his aura vanished, his hair falling back into place. His eyes closed, and he began plummeting towards the ground like a rock.

Solranous leapt up, catching Reizus in his fall and placing him over his neck.
"Geez, I don't know what you did, but you killed 'em all off." Solranous said, clearly amazed.
The two or three ships that were left were retreating.
"Initiating new survival protocal. Destination: The moon." One of the aparoids murmered below hearing range as they left. Unforunately, one of the ships happened to be a carrier, and that held the last few hatchers. Regardless, they were soon out of sight and in the upper atmosphere.
