Shiryu touched down in front of Sol's house as the light of the rising sun began to bathe the area with a rich golden light. Mercurio began to stir in his arms.
"I hope you don't mind us staying here for a little bit but our house still needs some work before it's entirely livable. So we'll rest up here and once Mercurio and I are ready we'll head out for some training", Shiryu said to Sol as he was opening the house so they could go inside.
He couldn't help but marvel at all the events he had witnessed and participated in since he awoke not too long ago. He knew that this training would be key to his and Mercurio's survival.

The dragon in question slipped inside without a word. Kisara sighed, knowing what it meant.
"Its alright, but Myrr is rather paranoid, we'll just have to wait here for a bit while Sol disarms the various traps she set up."
The trio waited for a second or two, before a small 'click' followed by an aggrivated roar was heard. Five more second's passed before Solranous opened the door again, what looked to be tar or oil on his head.
"It's clear now, come on in..." The dragon muttered, entering the house again and leaving the door open for the others.

Shiryu gawked at the now blackened Sol, "Well I'll have to remember not to come in without one of you to do this. So where in here can Mercurio get some peaceflu sleep."
She wriggled in his arms and muttered, "Uhhnn I... no not now... Come back..."
Shiryu just looked at her as he stepped inside Sol's house for the first time. He made sure to take each step with caution not knowing if there were some traps that Sol may not have known about.
Poor girl, she's had a really rough time since we met. I only hope that things get better for us as time goes on. In the meantime we must endure and rise to the occassion.
Mercurio's arms wearily wrapped around Shiryu's neck and, while still asleep, she kissed him on the cheek.

Kisara spoke up, "Follow me, we've got a guest room where Mercurio can rest."
With that, she lead the two Reapers into said room, with a bed for Mercurio to rest on.
"I'll go prep something for all of us to eat while we're waiting." Kisara told Shiryu as she left the room.

"Knock, knock! you home Sol?"
Blaze stood at the doorway smiling
"I was in the neighborhood and.....well...walked over here."
His grin faded as he asked "I've been feeling some intense energy, what I miss?"

Shiryu followed Kisara to the guest room and set Mercurio down on the bed that was inside. He watched her for a minute to make sure she wouldn't roll out and hurt herself.
He then followed Kisara back to the kitchen and found a place to sit.
"It's been quite the crazy kickoff to our new year hasn't it. So how was it that you two met each other, I've always found you two to be a curious pair here in Nightshade... not that it's a bad thing", Shiryu inquired.
He sat taking in the the home of his newfound friend. It was odd but he'd been around Sol and his family so much as of late that it almost felt as if he and Mercurio had been taken in by them as a long lost part of the group. It was then that he heard a knock on the door.
"Sol you wanna go see who it is at the door?" Shiryu asked.

Solranous came up to the front door, the tar having finally been removed off of his body.
"Hello Blaze. You've missed quite a lot, some very fierce battles have been fought and won recently, I have particiapted in almost all of them."
The dragon sighed to himself, looked up into the sky, and stood to the side, "Feel free to come in if you want to." the dragon told Blaze.
Turning to Shiryu he nodded, "Indeed, quite the 'crazy kick off'"

Blaze slowly lowered his head as he became increasingly sad.
"No! um, i uh, I shouldn't I really shouldn't."
He forced a smile as a beed of blood ran from his Left eye.

Mercurio had begun to wake up at this time when she heard the loud knock. When she fully awoke she found herself in a comfortable yet unfamiliar room. She slipped herself out of the bed and made the blankets after doing so before proceeding to the hall. As she walked down the hall she noticed Sol at the door with another dragon like being on the other side of him.
"Good morning Sol how are you today? This must be your house I presume. It's quite lovely you must have worked hard to get it into this sort of state", Mercurio said. She swayed slightly causing Shiryu to jump out of his seat and catch her before she could topple.
"Mercurio you need to be careful you drained almost all of your energy last night in that battle. Now come have a seat and get some breakfast", he told her just as he was leading her to the table he noticed Blaze's eye. "Whoa Blaze that doesn't look good do you need someone to look at that for you?"
He continued toward the table making sure to hold onto Mercurio so that he could steady her if she should lose her balance. He finally made it back to the tabla and sat her down.
"By the way Kisara that food smells wonderful. I can't wait to get a bite of it", Shiryu happily claimed.

"I'm not sure I know what your talking ab-"
His words began to slur as he started to sway, seconds later blood started running from his nose, soaking the front of his shirt, Eko immediately took surface.
"He's not doing well." Eko looked down at his bloodstained shirt then up at Sol, smiling. "can I use you shower...again?"

The dragon sighed. "Sure, you know where it is."
Kisara smirked at the compliment, "Well, your wait is over then." As she spoke she walked in back to the table with various plates of food, setting them out before their guests.
Solranous glanced over, and sat down in an empty chair himself, "Thanks Kisara," the dragon intoned kindly before starting to eat.
"No problem, as always," Kisara responded.

Shiryu collected a plate for himself and Mercurio to share. He first fed Mercurio since she needed food to replenish her energy stores before moving on to fill his own stomach.
Mercurio gave a large grin to Kisara, "This is great stuff Kisara I'd love to trade some recipes with you sometime. So delicous and I can feel it has a natural strength to restore lost energy too. Absolutely magnificent!"
Shiryu was too busy to answer due to the fact that he was filling his mouth with the food before him. He just looked up for a moment and shot Kisara a smile to show his appreciation and approval before turning back to the food.

Eko paused and looked at the food, mouth watering. He opening the Third Gate of Ren which destroyed the floor around him. He released the third personality, then reformed next to him. Eko took his shirt and walked away to the shower, leaving the third personality standing there confused.
"Wow hes an idiot." He looked up to see everyone look at Eko disgusted.
"I'm really sorry for Eko's actions, I won't bother any of you."
He walked over and sat next to Shiryu and watched everyone else eat, smelling the air.

Solranous narrowed his eyes at the hole in the floor with annoyance. "Completely uncalled for, for whatever reason he did it..." he muttered, waving his hand and repairing the hole with telekinesis, before finishing with his meal.
Kisara chuckled at Mercurio's response. "I've got to know recipes that restore energy, what with this lug throwing around so much of it," she said, pointing to Solranous. Said dragon rolled his eyes.
"You know I can restore my own energy quite well on my own," Solranous reminded.
"True, true... but you can never be too careful, you can't rely on that 'infinite spring' of energy forever," Kisara chided, prompting another eye roll from Solranous. "Argh, I'll never get through your thick skull, will I? You always think you know all..." Kisara mumbled toward the dragon, half-hearted glaring at him.
The dragon's expression suddenly grew stern. "Still, we must make preparations for training as soon as Mercurio is feeling 'up to speed' as it were. Kisara, you are coming with us when we do." Solranous stated firmly.
"Wha-wha-wha!?" Kisara stuttered, eyes widening.
"Don't think I haven't noticed your becoming a substitute Shinigami, I knew before you demonstrated it in front of me. You are coming with us to learn the Flash Step, and maybe even awaken your Zanpoktou's Shikai. Do not question my decision." Solranous finished, folding his arms.
Kisara was left perodically gaping like a fish...

Shiryu sat back obviously satisfied with the taste of the food and the volume of which he had consumed. Mercurio was dozing a bit in the morning light appearing a little tired but not exhausted like before.
"Well Sol I'd say we'll be ready to go by noon if we take it easy this morning. So do you know of a remote place where we can train ourselves in peace without any interruptions?", Shiryu asked his friend.
Mercurio had come out of her daze when the question was posed. "What about that floating island we saw on the way to Machinima? That place looked quite isolated from the world below. If nothing dangerous is up there could we train up there perhaps?", she offered in turn.
