A Stain On The Cosmos, pt.1

[Talon]

In a flash, bot the saurians were at it again, slashing and punching, kicking and clawing at one another. Despite his size disadvantage, Godzilla seemed to be holding his own, if not with a bit of difficulty. Gigoramis snarled after a few minutes of this display of strength, then decided to wrap his claws around Godzilla's face and hoist him into the air... single-handedly. His claws began to energize and burn their way into Godzilla's face, eliciting a muffled growl of displeasure from the King of Monsters. As the digits began to reach Godzilla's skull, the King of Destruction growled,

[glow=limegreen,2,300]You... you killed the Kaiser Ghidorah... you did... how is this even possible?! How could you have defeated that many kaiju on your own?! HOW could you have defeated over half of my armada, and then in turn, defeat ME?![/glow]

Another clenching motion pushed the claws in deeper, making Godzilla shriek in pain as he thrashed about.

[glow=limegreen,2,300]TELL ME!! HOW do you manage to do such things?! What is the secret of your ungodly power?! Why do you persist in proving your strength time and again?![/glow]

Godzilla's spines began to glow a neon-blue, but strangely, no beam was ejected from his maw. Shortly after, however, streaks of neon-blue energy lanced out of Godzilla before erupting into a full-blown nova of atomic fury, of which blew off Gigoramis's hand and forced him to stumble backwards, releasing Godzilla. Already, even the cauterized wounds caused by Gigoramis's claws were beginning to regenerate, the new flesh breaking through the charred coverings.

[glow=limegreen,2,300]I-Impossible...[/glow]

Gigoramis bellowed as he was slapped across the face with Godzilla's tail, then shoved backwards by another radiation beam. Snarling, he unloaded the rest of his organic missiles onto Godzilla, shrouding the beast in a multitude of explosions as the Scourge ascended into the sky.

[glow=limegreen,2,300]No matter... it all ends here...[/glow]

The clouds began to spiral overhead as any hopes of snow came to a halt. Gigoramis's red 'gems' all began to shimmer with prismatic energy, and the plating on his chest pulled back again, revealing the pulsating series of circular organs. The chest cavity filled with energy once more, but due to the lack of an interruption this time, the energy was in higher supply.

[glow=limegreen,2,300]You... will... all... FALL!!![/glow] He bellowed, his physical form uttering a powerful bellow.

Godzilla swayed to his feet, multiple chunks of flesh having been blown off in that last attack. He snorted, glaring up at Gigoramis as the astral destroyer's attack grew in size and brilliance, lighting the sky for at least a mile with an Aurora Borealis effect. The King of Monsters snorted, then glanced at Shaathcaex and his grandfather, then nodded towards Gigoramis. Spreading his feet apart as his talons dug into the loose cement, the King's spines slowly fanned out away from eachother at a rough 40-degree angle, then each began to take on a reddish glow. The temperature in the area suddenly skyrocketed as the ground near Godzilla began to slag from the sheer heat he was exerting. The spines eventually became almost too bright to look at, the crimson-white light counteracting the prismatic shimmer in the sky.

Godzilla let loose a low rumble to Shaath and TG, maw slowly opening to reveal a churning pit of atomic wrath. Gigoramis snarled, thinking,

If there was one thing Tyrant Godzilla hated about his new life, it would probably be the fact that he could no longer use a normal beam weapon. He regretfully backed away, remembering that words could be spoken to the younger saurian through roars, and did so, informing the current Godzilla that there was little he could do to stop the enemy's attack without stopping they're own retaliations.

Solranous growled as he stared at Gigoramis, then turned to Godzilla.

[shadow=black,left,300]"Guess this Kaiju hasn't noticed me yet... time to make myself known."[/shadow]
Chaos Solranous started building up power through out his whole body, gaining strength rapidly with energy that seemed to be immune to the Havoc Wave's vaccuum-like effect. The energy started gathering into his hands as he levitated up to about Godzilla's height in the air and faced the energy towards Gigoramis, preparing to fire as soon as the King of Destruction did.

[Talon]

Godzilla snarled, skin flashing to a deep purple color several times, his spines turning a teal color in the same method. Reverting to his normal coloration, he glanced at Solranous before narrowing his eyes in confirmation, then focused on Gigoramis once more. Meanwhile, the King of Destruction snorted as his outline steadily brightened, and he rumbled,

[glow=limegreen,2,300]Two, three of you... it won't make a difference... your world is doomed, and nothing will CHANGE THAT!! YOUR RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!! I AM THE KING OF DESTRUCTION- I SHALL CONTINUE TO LIVE UP TO- THAT- TITLE!!!![/glow]

With a bellow, the Scourge King threw his arms to the side, unleashing a massive beam roughly 250 feet in diameter screaming towards the kaiju (and Sol) on the ground below. Rumbling, the King of Monsters repsonded with his own large beam, a stream of atomic fury hot enough to slag the ground.... 300 feet away from it. Solranous's attack and Godzilla's attack both slammed into the Havoc Wave, forcing both sides to a standstill, the resulting shockwave surging forward for miles. Both Kings glared at eachother, pushing their attacks further until Gigoramis's chitin began chipping apart, and Godzilla's spines began to melt.

The King's tail swayed, then slammed into the mud-like ground as he forced the breath weapon to its limits, of which began to corrode the atmosphere around it. The Havoc Wave finally began pushing backwards under the combined attack force, and the King of Destructions' eyes widened.

[glow=limegreen,2,300]WHAT?! NO! NOT AGAIN! I WILL NOT FALL TWICE!! NOOOOO!!![/glow] Gigoramis bellowed in despair.

That statement was barely enough for Gigoramis to lose focus on his beam's limit, forcing the opposing attacks to quickly overtake the Havoc Wave, splitting it into fourths before they tore through Gigoramis completely, eventually incinerating most of the Scourge and enveloping him in a gargantuan explosion that lit up the darkened sky for miles, raining dust-sized particles of Gigoramis's flesh over the area. Godzilla's maw slowly closed, causing blood to break free from the cauterized interior of his mouth. Grunting slowly in agony, he swayed his tail before staggering backwards a few meters, panting. His spines began a slow, agonizing regeneration process, as did his burnt maw.

The King of Monsters turned his golden-eyed gaze to Solranous, and growled in a sort of thanks, then stared at Tyrant Godzilla for a long, silent period of time, never blinking. Finally, the King swayed his tail again, and turned around, making his long travel back to the nearest reactor... and after that, the closest ocean.

Solranous sighed as the battle was finally over, the impact of all the energy he used up in such a short amount of time slamming into him suddenly, leaving him to just hang limply in the air, held only by his telekinesis as he hovered slowly in the direction of the abandoned district.

Tyrant Godzilla noticed how the others were leaving, clenched his fist, before also levitating up above the city buildings, his form shimmering before he vanished once again. He knew he was evil at heart... but he didn't know why he wasn't acting out on that evil here. Anywhere else and he would have no qualms about finishing off a damaged city just to spite a Kaiju he may have defeated. Here, though... he simply could not, and it confused him. The tyranical saurian left, not the way that he came, but followed his grandson at a distance. Seeing the current King of the Monsters after so many years have made him curious on his condition, but he'd eventually leave the younger saurian in peace, only following at a distance he knew for a fact would keep him unnoticed, and therefore would prevent the King from preceiving him as a threat.

Hours after the carnage was over, and before a grumbling Chronos had repaired the damage, a lone figure stumbled through the streets, panting. Khimera searched the rubble for something as his outer exterior seemed to 'melt', muttering,

"damnit, I didn't think they could kill him... no, no... mustn't die because of his mistake..."

Khimera grunted in pain, then his eyes widened as he threw a large piece of rubble to the side. A chunk of Gigoramis's flesh lay there, slightly pulsating, as if trying to regenerate. Khimera picked it up with shaking hands, then threw his head back and let out a rising laugh into the ashen sky.

"Yes.... this'll do..." He muttered.

With that, the flesh seemed to siphon into his hand, and Khimera's eyes began to glow.

"Such... power... quite a benefit, in my opinion..."
