This is bad, if Sol can't hold that barrier for the rest of the fight one of us will need to lend him our strength. Please let this fight end soon entertaining as it may be.
Shiryu hopped out of the tree as it was beginning to uproot now and moved behind Solranous and to the side.
"Sol if you should need an extra boost or hand do not hesitate to ask. I sense the struggle you're having with this. I am here to help in any way possible be it on the side or in healing."
Shiryu pulled out some crystal's and prepared them for an emergency energy transfer or healing should the need arise. All he could do now was watch and wait for when he might be needed.

The two gigantic forces of mechanical might unwaver as they struggle to overcome each other. They both let loose screams of power as each one forces more and more energy into their attacks, hoping to snap the arms of the other apart. But this wasn't going to happen anytime soon. Because both machines were not willing to give up their pride and determination.

GaoGaiGar's eyes narrow and he speaks to the other machine in a calm voice and then picking up in rage and hot-bloodedness.
[glow=teal,2,300]You're the only fool Thrudgelmir. Don't you get it? Victory....BELONGS TO THOSE WITH COURAAAAGE!!!!![/glow]
The two gigantic machines then feel a rush of power flow through them and they gain a little more ground at each other, but with a price. Both of their arms begin to crack and break in parts of their massive ligaments. The strain of the attacks was taking its toll. But the two cared nothing for the consequences. They cared for seeing their opponent's head on a platter.
They continue to yell in anger, their powers rising higher and higher. The area around them creates a huge crater below them. The ground snaps and cracks, the earth rising and falling as the most powerful forces in the world were at ends. The two vortexes thrashed and buckled on each side, threatening to kill them both and everyone there.
Thrudgelmir begins to develop huge dents and minor damage on his body, the force of the vortex threatening to crush his body completely. GaoGaiGar, being built for the vortex of Hell and Heaven, stands unwavering. Thrudgelmir smirks and speaks to the other machine
[glow=purple,2,300]You speak of true courage giving you power? Well then, I SHALL USE THAT COURAGE AS WELL!![/glow]
GaoGaiGar laughs, and then yells back to his opponent.
[glow=teal,2,300]SO BE IT!!!!![/glow]
The two unleash howls of rage, a gigantic wave of light surrounding them and blinding those who were watching on. Then, the sickening snap and destruction from a pair of arms is heard. The winning combination then slams into their opponents and imaples them completely. An eruption is created from the losing combatant, but there is total silence. It is as if sound was completely eliminated from the area. Or even from the world itself.
A white explosion envelopes the entire area where the River stood. But there was that eerie silence as the white ball of light expanded and took over Solranous and the others. Thanks to the shield of Solranous, they were all protected minus the looser in the battle. A white flaming mushroom cloud then envelops over the area.
There was no sound. No sign of life form either side. No sign of victory.
The light became more dim, allowing the group watching to see. But they still couldn't see the victor of the bout. They eagerly watched as the light faded away to see who won.

"Uhh... who won?!" Garrett asked, brow furrowed, fists clenched.
"I... can't tell... hopefully, it was GaoGaiGar..." Ryouki muttered.
Varion grumbled, thinking,
Good lord... even our final bout with Nexus didn't cause this much collateral damage...
Eeyes straining, they continued to watch the glow fade, hoping they would see the victor soon.

All but one that is... the next sound anybody heard wasn't sourced from the crater in which the two machines had clashed. As a matter of fact, to Mazinkaiser, it sounded like it was right next to him.
Another sound occurred, followed by ragged and hoarse panting. anybody who dared take their eyes off the source of the fading light would see quite the horrific sight.
Chaos Solranous was currently lying in a rapidly growing pool of his own blood, blood vessels having burst from what appeared to be every inch of his body from the pressure of holding the shield against the final explosion of the energies. The first sound was that of his blood splattering across the ground, the second was that of him collapsing onto the ground afterwords. From the way his face was contorted, he was conscious still, and in unimaginable pain.
He reverted from Chaos form, all the way back down to normal, the hilt and guard of his zanpoktou lying a scant few feet from him.
"Shiryu..." the dragon called out in a hoarse whisper, his energy all but snuffed out, and his body in such a condition, "...Please... I won't recover... in time to... heal these... wounds... myself..." he finished, having to pause to scrape together more energy to maintain the link long enough, and prayed to every god he knew of that the Reaper heard him.

Shiryu nodded as he confirmed the dragons request setting up a crystal on each side of him.
"Alright time to get these suckers working." , he said as he began to sync the two crystals to Sol's biorythm. "I may not be able to heal these wounds completely but I can definitely get the wounds close to closing. There we go there all ready, you should be feeling it in just a second my friend."
After setting the crystals up he turned to look at where GaoGaiGar and Thrudgelmir were standing or laying whatever the case may be.
We can only hope he survived. If so he will need medical attention beyond what my skills can provide for him.

"It'll... be enough..." Solranous responded as he felt the crystals working on his wounds. Using what little of his drained strength he had left, he stemmed the bleeding as the wounds were healed, to keep as much blood as possible from escaping from his body.
He could also already feel his chaos soul restoring his strength rapidly. With in a few minutes, he was healed enough that he could simply shove the pain away. The dragon rose to his feet, coughing a bit, but otherwise seemed normal. By the time the crystals finished their job, he almost seemed to be glowing like a renewed light bulb. His telekinetic power restored, the dragon healed himself the rest of the way, looking as if he was never hurt.
"Thanks Shiryu, I would've died from blood loss if it wasn't for the crystals you had." Solranous said, glancing to Shiryu.
"Now, all we can hope is that GaoGaiGar was victorious..."

The dust and light begin to fully fade out. The form of GaoGaiGar slowly appears, the ruminates of the Hell and Heaven vs God and Devil attack slowly disappearing. The gigantic robot returns to its regular colors, the green skin simply fading away to nothing. The giant machine begins to walk towards the group. It was a slow walk, but a walk indeed. Thrudgelmir was no where to be scene. No trace of him was left. Great Mazinger punches fist into the air and hollers in joy. "WHOOO!! I KNEW HE COULD BEAT 'EM!!!" he yells. Mazinkaiser smiles in joy he knew that GaoGaiGar had the chance of winning. He was the King of Braves! He was the ultimate machine! "He won! HE ACTUALLY WON!! HE-!!"
GaoGaiGar falls to his knees.
The true extent of the damage dealt to GaoGaiGar was fully scene in full gore. The lion head on the chest of the robotic being was half blown off and the left side of his body was just a mangled bunch of metal and wires. The face of GaoGaiGar was filled with multiple cracks and parts of the mechanical skull under his 'skin' is shown through with the deep gaps on his face. The tusk and one horn of GaoGaiGar is completely gone and snapped off. The hands of the machine didn't even resemble hands anymore. They were just pieces of metal that were shredded apart. The legs of GaoGaiGar were shredded beyond belief. The light from his orange eyes were faded to grey and the orange flowing hair was now just grey and dead.
GaoGaiGar collapses into a heap of metal and robotic armor. Then the true victory stands behind the body of GaoGaiGar. Thrudgelmir stands defiant, looking completely fine from his bout. He only had a few dents and cracks on his hands. He wasn't even hurt a little from the attack.
Great Mazinger stands in awe while Mazinkaiser rushes over to the corpse of GaoGaiGar. He watches as the GaoMachines disappear from GaiGar's body and float in the air, circling the body of GaiGar. Mazinkaiser shakes GaiGar to wake, sobbing "GAIGAR!! PLEASE WAKE UP!! FOR GOD'S SAKE WAKE UP!!! PLEASE!!!"
Thrudgelmir just laughs manically, his voice dominating over the pleas of Mazinkaiser. Mazinkaiser tries to wake GaiGar, but succeeds. GaiGar opens his orange eyes a little, looking at Mazinkaiser. "You're...alive!!" Mazinkaiser mutters. GaiGar frowns, shaking his head. No. He couldn't survive much longer.
"No....it...is my time...now..." GaiGar tries to say, "I'm....dying...."
"NO!!! YOU CAN'T DIE!! YOU WERE OUR LEADER!! YOU WERE THE STRONGEST ROBOT HERE!!! YOU....YOU...You.....were my....Hero....my goal..." Mazinkaiser sobs, twitching with sadness.
"You....fool..." GaiGar says with a smile, "That's....why I...wanted you to....succeed the...throne. You must....become stronger....stronger than anything I could...be." GaiGar slowly raises his hand, it twitches in pain and he puts his hand on the forehead of Mazinkaiser. "I...give..you....a parting gift...." he mutters.
The forehead of Mazinkaiser shines with a metallic green glow. A large stone begins to form in the middle of Mazinkaiser's upper head. The G-Stone.
"I...will...always live....in an....Oath sworn through....courage!...." GaiGar mutters putting his fist in front of him, the symbol of the G Stone dimly shining on his hand. GaiGar's hand then falls. The orange eyes dim and his body begins to turn grey and hard as stone. When the machine's body was completely grey, Mazinkaiser goes to touch the G-Stone on the forehead of GaiGar which had turned dull. The second he touched it, it cracked then shattered into billions of pieces. GaiGar was just a husk of a machine. Just a corpse. Overhead, the cries and moans of the GaoMachines is heard as they weep in sadness and they return to their other dimension.
Mazinkaiser's body trembles in sadness and lets loose a cry of sadness that will be heard all over the land.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!!

Solranous clenched his hands in sadness, tears flowing freely at GaoGaiGar's destruction. His hand flings out, recalling Kizoku to him with telekinesis, in case Thrudgelmir decided to attack again. He was likely confident after defeating the former King of Braves, so he would likely attack.
'What will we do now? Will Mazinkaiser retaliate, or am I for now the only one with the strength to stand up against Thrudgelmir, at least until Mazinkaiser gains the power of the King of Braves...' Solranous thought, ready to shift into Bankai, and then Chaos form at a moments notice.

Mazinkaiser silently lets go of the dead body of GaiGar. His eyes are darkened and he stands in front of the group. Thrudgelmir raises his eyebrow at the robot. Mazinkaiser then glares full boar at Thrudgelmir. A green energy surrounds Mazinkaiser's body and the G-Stone on his head glows with the ferocity of a 1,000 suns. The ground around him quakes and splits with green fury. Mazinkaiser resemble that of an angry god ready to smite those who angered him more. Mazinkaiser points his finger at the Sword of Magus and bellows to the evil machine.
"You better be glad that I am not able to defeat you here and now, Thrudgelmir!!! For if I had the power, I'd CRUSH YOU IN SECONDS FOR ALL YOU'VE DONE!!"
Thrudgelmir laughs and smiles at the righteous machine. "Then it is settled! Gain more powerful and I shall grant you the wish to face me in a fair bout!! And if you're lucky, I might just grant you a swift death!!" Thrudgelmir says as he rises into the air. He looks at Solranous, completely ignoring the others in the area.
"This challenge goes out to you to, Solranous. Come to me when you gain your power back. Maybe then can we settle a fight between me and your Bankai." he says, the Will Knife that GaoGaiGar had dropped coming to Thrudgelmir's hand and the machine says one last thing before he takes off.
"You have seen only PART of my power! When you face me, you might be lucky enough to see my FULL power!! Until then, continue to live in fear of Thrudgelmir, SWORD OF MAGUS!!!"
The machine then flies off at incredible speeds unlike anyother. The area falls silent once more, everyone looking at Mazinkaiser who had calmed down from his rage. He had his head hanging down, a bit of sadness in his voice. "He...deserves a proper burial...." he mutters, speaking of GaiGar.
Great Mazinger stands in the shadows, trying to hid his sadness from everyone. Mazinkaiser taps into the power of the G-Stone once more, making the ground open a bit, perfect for a burial. He lifts GaiGar up and sets him down into the grave. The dirt covers up the body of GaiGar, a small smile pierced on GaiGar's lips. Mazinkaiser looms over the grave, Great Mazinger walking up beside his brother, putting his hand on his shoulder. "We...did the best we could.." he says.
"I know.....I know..." Mazinkaiser says, sadness still in his voice.

Shiryu could not help but feel for the Mazinger brothers as he paid his respects to the mighty hero that was GaoGaiGar. He retrieved the two crystals that were used to heal Sol and bound them together with two other crystals that he had packed away. He forced the newly formed crystal into the ground and created a memorial for him that glowed with the passion he had seen GaoGaiGar fight with only minutes before.
"Sadly I cannot say much for him except that he was an amazing warrior any would be proud to call friend. So instead I make this crystal to honor him for his service to this world. May his friends forever remember him and his foes eternally fear him."
That last sentance was etched into the crystal as a testament to GaoGaiGar's sacrifice to this planet.

Ryouki's tail had embedded itself halfway into the ground as he restrained a sob, head bowed. Garrett's shoulders were sagging, having not known the King of Braves, but knew Ryouki was acquainted with the bot. Varion sighed as well, then muttered,
"Aye... he was one of the best, it would seem... but we mustn't mourn for him."
Garrett cocked an eyebrow at his watch, who simply continued,
"The greatest honor for a warrior is to die in battle. He has done so in a way I'd never have even imagined. So dry your tears... he was a good friend, yes, but you know he wouldn't want this."
Though he could not see it, Varion turned his unseen gaze to Mazinkaiser.
"He's named a succesor today... sorrow will not help him to acheive that person's goal of taking up the crown."
Garrett nodded, then glanced up at everyone before he began to walk in the opposite direction. Ryouki sighed, glanced at GaiGar's grave, then tilted his head back and released a powerful surge of azure 'flame' from his maw. After several seconds of the flames reaching towards the heavens, he bowed his head again, and followed after Garrett and his brother.
* * * * * * *
Meanwhile, on the very outskirts of the crater caused the battle between Thrudgelmir and GaoGaiGar, a shrouded entity stood, 'smirking'.
"Such... such power! Not even that damned Harbinger's full potential could stand against that! ... hrmm... I may have found yet another use for the Cerinian..."
Nexus then narrowed his eyes at the others in the distance, then faded into the shadows.

Great Mazinger still stands next to his brother, still holding onto his brother's shoulder. He looks to see Mazinkaiser still staring down at the grave. The wave of sadness still lingered over everyone. Great Mazinger looks down, patting Mazinkaiser's shoulder a couple of times.
"I'm going to inform O'Mally on what happened...." Great Mazinger says. Mazinkaiser nods, "Yes....and I will inform Burning Gundam....."
Great Mazinger slowly nods and turns away, starting up his thrusters. He thought about what Burning would say. He'd be devastated. He too looked up to the Genesic machine. Almost as much as Mazinkaiser. He shook his head and flew off to the Fort within the desert.
Mazinkaiser stares at the grave a few more minutes and then turns to the others. "Thank you....my friends...." Mazinkaiser says in sadness, "You've....done all you could. I thank you for that. But don't morn for too long! He'd rather have us being happy for him." The machine says with a small smile on his face. He pauses and then speaks once more. "I promise you all....I will become stronger. I will live up to the name of the King of Braves."
Mazinkaiser then turns to the woods and begins to walk farther in. "I will be training from now on. If you need me...." Mazinkaiser says and stops in his tracks and turns around, "I'll be there." Mazinkaiser continues to walk into the woods. Slowly, drops of rain began to fall. It was like the sadness was fully materialized into the weather. Or could it be GaoGaiGar crying tears of joy from heaven?
