A lone figure staggered through the trees, his twin blue-gray eyes shining in the dark. His humanoid form stepped out onto the rocky beachline, then he collapsed to a knee, panting as blood dribbled down from his maw.
"damn... c-can't die here..." He hissed.
He shook his peaked head, then glanced at the stream before him. He staggered forward towards it, eventually breaking down into a crawl. He managed to get a handful of water, and it had almost been brought to his mouth before his hand fell, and he gritted his teeth in pain.
"Graah! If I find that cursed experimental freak... i shall rend him limb from limb..." He gurgled, spitting out more blood.
His eyelids drooped, and he gasped,
"I.. will not... fall..."
With that, he fell into unconsciousness, his teeth bared in a weak snarl.

Flying high in the sky, Myrr looked over the area, glancing about. She still had her armor, and had mostly been staying in the wilderness, away from the fighting, knowing she paled in comparison to the combatants in all of those fights. She had to fight off the occasional bear, but other then that, she hadn't had much trouble. She looked down though, and saw some one by the river. He wasn't moving, which made Myrr worried if the person was dead or dying.
The half dragon arced up slightly, and then folded her wings, diving down from the sky and landing near the unconscious being.
"What happened to this guy... and who is he?" Myrr wondered.

A moment later, a dark figure appeared behind Myrr as a pair of glowing blue, angle-like wings dissipated into the air. He placed a hand on myrr's shoulder before loudly asking.
"OH jeez is that dude Okay?"
Draco ran over and knelt by the fallen being, lifting him upright in a sitting position.

As the entity was raised, its true appearance came to light as well. Standing a good 7-1/2 feet in height, the creature was completely covered in a thick, red hide, wearing nothing but blue bracers on his forearms and shins, a sort of metal loincloth, and two shoulderplates as the same color as his bracers. A pair of bat-like wings sprouted from his back, the wing-bones exposed and jagged in shape. His head was peaked near the top-back of his head, poitning directly uwards, and he had a pair of fangs sprouting from between his closed lips. His feet and hands ended in white talons, and from what could be seen of hs eyes, they were a gray-yellow in color. He lacked hair of any kind, his ears were pointed, and he had no discernable nose or nostrils, but he did have a bit of a muzzle.
In every respect, he looked like a tail-less gargoyle.
In his clenched left fist looked like a piece of ragged, slightly-burnt, yellowed paper with ink etchings on it, giving the suggestion of a map. He was riddled with slash marks, and a large stab wound in his stomach, all oozing a blood pitch-black in color.
"Dae... da... lus..." He rasped in his unconscious state.

Myrr's eye widened like saucers as she gasped.
'Oh... what I wouldn't do to have Solranous come and help him...'
She was unaware that she thought this just moments after Solranous reverted from his Chaos state. She did figure it out though when the dragon appeared from Flash Stepping.
"Solranous?"
"The fighting is over, for now. I have free time again... Now what's going on here?" The dragon said. Myrr relayed the possibility that the gargoyle had encountered Daedalus, which produced a similar reaction in the emerald wyrm that Myrr had.
"I'll see what I can do."
Solranous knelt down in front of the gargoyle, surveying his wounds.
"This is child's play for me to heal." the dragon whispered to himself, and held his hand out to the gargoyle, working his telekinesis to knit the wounds together.
"He may not wake up yet, but he is in no danger of dying from bloodloss now. However, we should keep him here. He came here for a reason likely, and may get lost if we move him while he's unconscious." The dragon reported, standing up again. He then looked at Draco.
"Sorry for ignoring your presence, but we did have a wounded person to tend to. What's your name?" the dragon inquired

The wolf anthro stood and extended his arm out in friendship and smiled.
"The names Draco friend, and judging from what that nice lady said, yours would be...Solranous, right?"

Solranous nodded in confirmation, lightly grasping Draco's hand, aware of his immense strength now that he had created a fusion of his light and dark halves.
"Indeed it is, and that 'nice lady' is my daughter, Myrr." the emerald wyrm said, then looked down at the gargoyle after releasing Draco's hand.
"I hope he wakes up soon..."
Myrr walked up to him, saying, "So do I."

The gargoyle's chest abruptly jerked upwards, as if seizuring, before his eyes snapped open completely, and he roared,
"YOU HALF-BREED SON-OF-A-BI-"
He paused upon seeing his surroundings, and those in them. He narrowed his eyes, then hopped to his feet and jumped a good distance backwards, away from Myrr and the others.
"Who in the Six Hells are you three?!" He rasped, fire curling out of the sides of his mouth.
He paused, then glanced irritably from side to side, unfurled the paper in his hand, taking a glance at it, and grumbled.
"That b*stard could be anywhere by now... damnit!" He growled.
He stuffed the paper under one of his shoulder-plates, then glanced back at the others. He snorted, assuming his full height and folding his arms over his chest.
"You haven't answered my question." He stated flatly.

Draco slowly grinned as he watched the gargoyle exhale the small amount of fire dissipate into the air, before snapping back into reality.
"Oh! The names Draco, I'm glad to see your in good health!"
He walked over and extended his hand out to him, tail wagging.

"First, it would do you well to refrain from showing hostility towards us. I am, after all, the reason you haven't died yet." Solranous began, staring down the gargoyle.
"Second, I am Solranous, and this is Myrr." the emerald wyrm continued, gesturing to each in turn.
"Third, Myrr and I are enemies of the one who attacked you. As they say, the enemy of my enemy is my friend." he finally finished.
"Before we go on, who are you?" Myrr asked the gargoyle.

The gargoyle, blatantly ignoring the gesture of friendship that Draco was giving him, replied,
"I must've I mentioned his name while unconscious then... damn."
He glanced to the side, grumbling,
"Glad I'm not the only one he's pissed off."
He glanced back at the others, his twin exposed fangs lowering in a scowl, then a sigh.
"You may call me Firebrand, or Red Arremer; I go by both."
He scratched one of his fangs, then asked,
"Do any of you know where that half-breed b*stard was last seen? I need to find him, and kill him as soon as possible."

"Well Firebrand, I may not know where he was last seen, but assuming he doesn't have strong enough telepathic barriers, I can find him, right here, right now." Solranous said to the gargoyle. Myrr grinned and held her hand up with the 'V for Victory' sign.
"Almost nobody can hide from my father's telepathic power when he wants to find them."

Draco blankly stared at Red Arremer, then looked at his hand as if there was something on it before shrugging and lowering it.
"So..." The anthro began in an interested tone, "Your good with fire then...."
Draco looked over the gargoyle, smiling as he walked back over to Sol and Myrr.

A cat like growl was suddenly heard in the dense forest. The bushes rustled and a certain metallic lion appeared. Galion panted in pain, green "blood" dripping from all the joins in his body. There were some cracks on his head, one coming from his eye and some coming from his legs. The robotic lion growls in pain, his legs barely able to keep him up.
The lion then collapses onto the ground, green blood pouring from his mouth. The machine twitches in pain, more blood spilling everywhere. Galion looked to Solranous, trying to speak to the emerald dragon. "Sol.....ra..." he gasps but then stops, trying to fight to stay awake.

Another entity then emerged from the trees, its bulk slamming into Arremer and dragging him into the river with an iron grasp on the gargoyle's neck.
"HA! I found you, ya traitorous little sh*t!" The demon roared.
The gargoyle couldn't respond, due to the fact his head was shoved under the water. However, under the current, his eyes narrowed before he slammed his feet into Daedalus's gut, sending the demon staggering off of him. Arremer pulled himself out of the water and gasped, then hissed,
"Why don't you go back to 'the Good Doctor' for another upgrade, you guinea-pig son-of-a-b*tch!"
Daedalus's eyes narrowed as his organic arm-blade formed around his forearm.
"I'll find those Crests, Arremer... even if I have to pry the information straight from your brain."
Arremer gritted his teeth, fire curling from the sides of his maw.
