Garrett nodded back as Wataru left, then he disengaged Varion, sighing as his hide smoked.
"damn... I'm... I'm tired..." The teen muttered.
"I can see why, boy..." his watch muttered.
Ryouki swayed his tail, staring at the spot where Lazengann last stood, then shook his heard and turned to Garrett. After a period of silence, he stated,
"I guess I'll take you back home when the trouble downtown dies off."
"Yeah... thanks..." Garrett mumbled.
Within the next five minutes, Garrett was sound asleep, leaving Ryouki and Varion to their thoughts as they ascended into the sky.
