More shockwaves raced up the cliffs as Shive smashed Daedalus into the rock wall, repeatedly smashing his buffer-than-normal fists into the demon's face and stomach. Growing annoyed, Daedalus retaliated with another burst of hellfire, yet only received Shive's fist wedged into his mouth as the other went to work disembowling the demon. Daedalus snarled through his mouth-block, then kicked Shive off of him and fired off a wave of black, crackling energy from his arm-blade, taking flight while his brother was distracted.
"The Bloodrage does more for him than I thought..."
His eyes widened upon hearing Shive's voice echo across the desert,
"Ragnarok- Light aspect!"
A bright light shone from the dragonkin's position, and Daedalus snarled at its intensity. It dissapated, and Shive suddenly rushed upwards, the Bloodrage having worn off. He shoved a 7-1/2 foot long, white-guarded Ragnarok into Daedalus's stomach, then, with the blade still in his opponent, spun around and booted Daedaus off of the blade. The blade then charged with light again as Shive swung the blade, creating a 20-foot long 'light afterimage' of the blade, of which cleaved through Daedalus's midsection with ease. Daedalus then did something he hadn't done in quite a long time: He screamed in pain.
"YOU B*STARD! THAT WAS A HOLY ATTACK, WASN'T IT?!"
Daedalus snarled again, then rocketed off for the city. Shive sighed, landing on the edge of the cliff as Ragnarok reverted to normal and was re-sheathed. Meanwhile, Mortis coughed up blood-speckeled fluid as he rolled onto his haunches, groaning,
"Urgh... that... didn't... hurt... ow."

((Solranous: ... Ragnarok - Light aspect... wouldn't that have told him it was a holy attack?))
Hollow Cynder sighed as she saw that Mortis was alright.
"Thank goodness you're alive. It would have torn poor Cynder's heart to shreds if you died now ... Scratch that, it would have torn her heart to shreds regardless..." the Hollow wyrm tenderly lift Mortis up and placed him on her back.
"Geez, seems you always get hurt at the worst of times..." Hollow Cynder muttered as she slowly trekked back to the edge of the cliff, seeing if Shive was there, or maybe she could find some one that could heal the child.

((Just because it's composed of light, doesn't neccesarily mean it's holy... *throws another Chibi Solranous at Sol*))
Mortis grinned, wheezing in response,
"Oh no, I can't afford to die. Not now."
Shive was found on the edge of the cliff, arms folded and his head tilted backwards as he stared at the sky. His claws were digging into his armor, scraping across it occasionally and sending sparks off of it. His face was contorted into a deep scowl.
"Uh oh..." Mortis muttered, wiping more blood from his mouth.
Shive snapped out of it at that, and he turned to Cynder and the wounded Mortis. He sighed, shaking his head.
"Nothing I can do for him, Cynder. Sorry."
Not much I can do for anyone, it seems... He thought in a grumble.

((Solranous: I know, but light is usually asociated with all things good and holy... *looks at Chibi-Sol #2* One... is bad enough... *incinerates Chibi-Sol #2* I normally wouldn't have done that, but like I said: One is bad enough. I'm going to shut up now before I give you anymore ideas....))
Hollow Cynder sighed.
"Then I need to find someone who can do something."
The Hollow wyrm extended her wings, and began to take off slowly, then gliding with the occasional flap of wings to stay aloft. She couldn't deny it any more, she was going soft, and would likely turn to a Shinigami's aid if no one else could. She could sense Solranous' reiatsu increasing, so it was obvious he was too immersed in a fight to heal the blue wyrmling.
Hollow Cynder gulped, hoping she didn't have to turn to the other Shinigami in the basic area of the city and its surrounding foundations. That would be a misunderstanding that she would not want to go through.

((Kekekekekeke.... *runs off*))
Mortis yawned, shaking his head as he forced himself to stay awake. He paused, feeling an odd, tingling sensation, then glanced back at himself. His spines were snapping back into place, his bruises were dissapating, and overall, looked good as new.
Don't worry, I got it covered. Artecaex's voice echoed into both of their minds.
The crimson wyrm was seen lying on the cliffs about half a mile from their previous location, tongue poking out of his mouth lazily in a smirk, three tails occasionally flying through the air and flopping back on the ground. Shive, on the other hand, had left the area completely, a few spatters of blood making an almost unnoticeable trail.

'Thank god... I'd rather not confront a Shinigami...' the Hollow thought, lazily circling in the air now, as if trying to decide where to go now.
Chiggar, satisfied that everything is alright, had already left.
The Hollow wyrm, however, knew that nothing was alright.
'Nothing is alright, all Hell is breaking loose. And I can't do a damn thing about it... Solranous has far surpassed any known limitation on reiatsu, and even he is only matching the strength of our enemies... What's a Adjuchas Hollow to do, then?'

Mortis was attempting to fight off sleep for what could've been a night somwhere in the fourties by now. His eyelids kept raising and falling, and he shook his head, grumbling,
"Grr... need... caffeine..."
He slapped himself several times, managing to stave it off a bit longer as he hissed,
"No... no! Cyn- err... Hollow, help me stay... awake..."
He yawned again, then gritted his teeth, stifling it.

Hollow Cynder glanced back at the blue wyrmling, worried.
"I would if I could, but I like the ability to do so... This is somehing more along the lines of Artecaex's or Solranous' abilities."
'damnit!!! There's got to be something that I can do! He's got all those horrible nightmares that he briefly talked about... there has got to be something I can do!'
The Hollow's eyes narrowed, but she just couldn't think of anything that could help...

Mortis's head was bobbing as he mumbled the lyrics to a song in a worthless attempt to occupy himself from sleep.
"Soo~omeday, soo~omehow, I'm gonna make it alright, but not-ah right now..."
His head waved back and forth, and he slowly let his head rest on Cynder's back. His eyelids fluttered, and he finally slumped into sleep. A few minutes later, a voice muttered into Cynder's mind,
"All you have to do is stay with him... look for yourself."
In his state of slumber, the wyrmling did indeed look... relaxed.

And look the Hollow wyrm did, and relaxed upon seeing Mortis' peaceful state.
'... So there is something I... we can do for him...'
'Going soft are we?' Cynder taunted the Hollow.
'... Yeah... I am... I can't really deny it anymore...'
Hollow Cynder could feel the jaw drop of her other half as she was shocked beyond all belief.
'... What the hell happened to "I'm a Hollow, I'm not soft!"?'
'Times change, little one... I learned that the hard way.'
With that, the Hollow flew away, softly as to not disturb the sleeping wyrmling on her back.
