Garrett stood on the edge of the graveyard, the night wind threatening to bring stormclouds over the area. The teen's leather jacket whipped in the strong breeze, his hands jammed in both pockets as he stared solemnly at the graves, his heart heavy with remorse.
"I'm not cut out for this crap..." He muttered.
He sighed, leaning against an emaciated tree nearby, shaking his head as he closed his eyes and listened to the wind. The moon was full that night, but black clouds rolled across the sky, threatening to blot out the astral body and send their booming thunder echoing across the land. Garrett looked up at said moon, singing quietly to himself,
"So I dub thee unforgiven..."

From the darkness behind Garrett, a form rose. It was a demonic being that feasts on the souls of humans for joy, pleasure, and hunger. It howled at Garrett as he turned around to see the form. It was covered in purple horns, and head strangely like a praying mantis. It had bladed arms that looked like they would slice through anything.
This is a Fangire.
The Fangire raised its bladed hand to strike down Garrett, when the sudden noise of a violin began to echo within the dark bowels of the graveyard. It was an almost heavenly sound, but at the same time it spelt doom for the Fangire.
The sound of footsteps on the dirt echo and flapping wings enter as well. The form approached from the darkness, looking like a young man.
"Kivatt" he mutters in a cold tongue. A small bat like object flies right beside him, actually speaking to him.
"Yosh! Time to enter this wondrous stage!!" the Kivatt says. The man then grabs the bat-like device in his hand. "GABBU!!" the device says as it opens its mouth and clamps down on the young man's hand.
"HENSHIN!!" The man then attaches the bat to a belt like device on his waist. The man suddenly illuminates with light and the skin shatters like a mirror. The man had transformed himself into an almost vampire like human with chains and metal all over his body.
The humanoid rushes in, hunched over like an animal attacking prey. It jumps up and smashes its fist into the Fangire's face, sending it flying through two tombstones.
The human then stands infront of Garrett as if protecting him. He enters a fighting pose, ready for the next assault.

"What the hell?! Who're you?!" Garrett shouted in surprise.
Varion mentally smirked, recognizing the term the 'human' shouted before transforming.
"Just like Akira used to say..." The watch muttered.
Garrett backed up a few steps, his hands out of his pockets as he watched the fight, ready to step in and help, if need be. The teen's watch-lense began to shimmer with a green light.
"Hey, uhh.... Garrett, right?" Varion asked.
"Yeah?" The teen replied, irritated by the fact the AI still didn't know his name.
"Question... you took me from my previous host upon his request. Why?"
Garrett blinked, taking a single edge-step backwards from the fight.
"Well... Akira was dying when he gave me you... I didn't want to decline a dying man's wish..."
"And you use me for your fights, yes?" Varion asked again.
"...I... guess you could put it that way, yeah."
"So, tell me this, boy.... for what reason do you fight?" The watch finished.
Garrett was taken off-guard by this question, trying to keep his guard up and think of an answer at the same time.

The Fangire howls and jumps into the air, right towards Kiva and Garrett. The Fangire aims his sword like arm towards the Kamen Rider and Kiva quickly reacts. He does a backflip, dodging the Fangire with ease. The Fangire's claw stabs itself into the earth, getting itself stuck. The Fangire thrashes in fury as it struggles to free itself. It suddenly sees The foot of Kiva smashing into its face. The Kamen Rider then rapidly punches the Fangire in the chest, making it fall down.
The Fangire cries out in pain, its stuck claw cemented still in the ground and snapped off from the arm. It howls and rushes Kiva, grabbing him and pushing him through the gravestones. Kiva kicks the Fangire backwards and then grabs its arm and flips it over his shoulder.
The Fangire slams into the ground, the sound of bones snapping echoes into the darkness. The Fangire squirms on the ground in pain and gets back up. It screeches in anger right at Kiva, both of them squaring off and waiting for the next move.

Garrett glanced at the fight, clearly surprised at Kiva's fighting ability.
"damn... that skinny guy can kick some ass..." He muttered.
Varion 'coughed', bringing Garrett back to the watch's question.
What... am I fighting for? ...what am I fighting for? He thoguht, biting his lip.
"Surely you must have something, boy!" Varion barked.
Garrett stood there, then slowly shook his head.
"Nothing that I can think of currently..."
Then leave me here." Varion stated flatly.
Garrett blinked in shock, asking,
"What?! Why?!"
"Because! I'm a weapon built to defend life from those who would wiish to take it away. I don't need some sniveling little sh*t piloting me for fun!" Varion roared angrily.
Garrett bit his lip, scowling at Varion. He knew it was true, though. He didnt have a reason to fight, so why should he? His hand went to the watch, ready to unfasten it from his wrist.

"Wataru! Its time to end this!" Kivatt chirps to Kamen Rider Kiva. The Kamen Rider nods, and slowly crouches. A red aura slowly builds around Kiva and the sound of metal cracking echoes into the air. The day suddenly turns into night and a crescent moon replaces the sun. Kiva then kicks his leg up into the air and the chains around Kiva's leg break off and twin red bat wings burst from the leg.
The Praying Mantis Fangire looks in awe at the Kamen Rider, filled with terror at the site of the aura. Kiva then jumps up into the air, flying infront of the moon, and then flipped and aims his foot at the Fangire. The Fangire is smashed into the chest with the kick, falling straight to the ground at the gigantic amount of pressure being force upon him. The Fangire falls onto its back and the ground bursts with the symbol of Kiva. Kiva then flips and lands away from the Fangire. The Fangire then bursts into pieces like rainbow colored glass. Smoke rises from the small crater and Kiva looks at Garrett.
"Are you alright?" he asks in a sympathizing voice. Suddenly Kiva stops and turns around. Red eyes then break through the darkness and start walking towards Garrett and Kiva. They were surrounded by the same type of Fangire. There was no escape.

"Yeah, I'm-" He was cut off at the sight of the Fangire.
"Oh sh*t..." He muttered.
"Well? What're you waiting for? Drop me and run, boy! If you know what's good for you!" Varion barked.
Garrett scowled, glancing at Kiva.
I can't be sure if he can take all of these damn things by himself... I can't just let him fight them by himself anyway... He thought.
"BOY! Drop me already!"
Garrett's eyes narrowed, hand falling away from the watch as something came to him.
"I don't..." He whisered.
"What?!" Varion asked, irritated.
Garrett's eyes burned with an inner light as images of Tarrasque, Khimera and Cresence burned into his mind. His fist clenched as images of the friendlier natives of Nightshade shot through his mind, and he slowly raised the amr with the watch.
"I don't fight... meaningless battles..."
The watch flared into a bright green light, and he roared,
"I FIGHT TO HELP THOSE WHO'VE CALLED ME A FRIEND! I FIGHT TO KEEP THE ASSH*LES AROUND HERE FROM HURTING ANYONE ELSE!"
Heat began to shimmer around the teen, his face alight with anger and determination.
"I FIGHT- TO FIX- MY MISTAKES!!!"
In an explosion of light, Garrett's flesh turned a gray-purple color, the Varion armor appearing in 'orbit' aroudn him before it all flew forward, attaching to Garrett's flesh and binding it together. The light faded as Varion-Garrett stepped out of the smoke, eyes glowing. Energy clusted around Garrett's right fist as he roared,
"NOVA BUUUUURST!!!"
He rushed forward with help from his back-booster, slamming the fist into the nearest Fangire's chest. The following burst of energy sent the Fangire flying through the crowd with enough force to take out any Fangire he impacted, before he himself finally turned to 'glass' and shattered. Garrett'shands shot up to his shoulders as the Orion Blades sprang forth, and he whipped them around, spinning them at his sides.

Kiva jumps in surprise at Garrett's tranformation. He's...just like me.... Wataru says mentally.
"WATARU!! WAKE UP BOY!!" Kivatt barks to Wataru/Kiva as a Fangire jumps to attack the Kamen Rider. Kiva turns around and rolls out of the way. The Fangire's claw slices through a gravestone with ease and it howls in hunger for blood.
Kiva pants, out of breath since only adrenline was the only thing pushing him to dodge. "Wataru....I think we should call a friend of ours to take care of these guys...." Kivatt mutters to Wataru.
Kiva nods and pulls out a bull object called a Fuestle. He takes it and Kivatt opens his mouth and the Fuestle is stationed in him mouth. Kivatt then lets out a thundering cry with the sound of a horn echoing with it.
GARURU...SABER!!!
A fireball is lauched from the heavens, a cobalt statue within it. Kiva grabs the "handle" of the statue with his left hand. The statue then morphs into a crescent shaped sword with a wolf like face on the hilt. Chains begin to snake their way up Kiva's left arm and then burst into pieces revealing a cobalt armored arm with different shoulder armor than before. Chains wrap around Kiva's chest then burst like before, giving the Kamen Rider a blue chest. Kiva's eyes turn cobalt blue and the transformation is complete.
Kiva looks at the army of Fangire around him. He releases deep growls like a wolf towards the Fangire. Then he lets out a roar of defiance at the army and charges at them, slashing and hacking his way through the field of Fangire.

Garrett roared as he slammed into another Fangire, hacking and slashing his way throught the crowd, the sounds of Fangire after Fangire shattering upon death. Several pounced on him, only to meet their deaths as an electric-blue light gathered around a gem that had suddenly appeared on the helmet's forehead.
"STAR BUSTER!!" He roared.
A beam of the same colored energy shot forth, slicing the attackers in half, Garrett stepping aside as they shattered upon impacting the ground. Varion himself mentally smirked, muttering,
"Well... I guess I can stay around after all..."
Garrett grabbed another Fangire by the throat, then spun around and hurled him into another before throwing one of his swords, impaling and killing both.

Kiva hacked his way through the swarm of Fangire. Limbs flew everywhere and into the air. Sparks flew from the wounds of the insect Fangire, falling to the ground in pain. "This isn't working!!!" Kiva yells.
"Wataru! The Dogga Hammer!!" Kivatt answers to Kiva. Kiva nods and then lets go of the Garuru Saber. The cobolt armor bursts off, revealing the original armor. The Saber flies back into the sky and Kiva grabs the Dogga Fuestle into his hand. Kivatt bits down on the Fuestle, releasing a gigantic blast of sound into the darkened air.
DOGGA HAMMER!!!
Again, the sky releases a gigantic statue like object. It flies towards Kiva and transforms into a purple hammer. The hammer hovers infront of Kiva and the Kamen Rider grabs. Chains cover his chest and arms. The all burst, revealing purple heavy armor on the arms and chest. Kiva's eyes then change to Violet.
The Fangire stare at the transformed Kiva. One jumps and stabs at Kiva's head. The blade just bounces off and the Fangire falls back down. Kiva then grunts and pops his neck. Kiva then punches the Fangire in the chest, making it fly into the air and burst into the glass like shards.
Kiva lifts up the Dogga Hammer and then smashes through tons of Fangire with just two swings of the hammer. Glass shards scatter in the air and Kiva continues bashing the Fangire to bits.

Garrett panted after kicking a Fangire cleaqn in half, grumbling,
"damnit, I need more mass-area attacks..."
"You'd have 'em if you managed to unlock my other 50%, boy." Varion muttered.
"Shut it." Garrett stated loudly, hacking through mor eof the Fangire with the Orion Blades.
He glanced at Kiva and barked,
"How many more of these damn things are there?!"

A flare of orange reiatsu, followed by a multitude of rainbow shards signaled the arrival of Kisara, who had stabbed her Zanpoktou through a Fangire. She looked at Garrett and Kamen Rider Kiva, a curious glance adorning her eyes at the sight of the latter. Not sure if she could be seen by them right now, she just shrugs and runs her blades through two more Fangire. She continued on afterwards, her blades swing about and cleaving away at the Fangire like some sort of deadly dance.
'Wh... when did I get so good at sword play? Did I always have the potential to do this?' Kisara thought to herself, never missing a step as the Fangire fell one after another.

As Garrett tore through several more Fangire, he noted some seemed to be... spontaneously dying. He cocked an eyebrow before another Fangire tackled him, forcing him to scowl and send a Nova Burst into its stomach, making it explode.
"goddamnit! These things just don't stop coming! Where the f*ck're they coming from?!" Garrett roared over the clamour.
He swept both swords behind him, impaling a pair of the Fangire, causing them to shatter.
"Bah! I've been in fights with numbers MUCH higher than this, boy! Get used to the mayhem!" Varion barked.

Seeing as Garrett made no move to speak to her, she came to the obvious conclusion that she couldn't be seen by him right now. Whether the Kamen Rider could see her or not was still up in the air though, as the substitue Shinigami tore through more Fangire.
"Ugh! These things are so annoying!" Kisara growled after her latest kill, sending a mental signal to call Onyste to her, and bring her physical body as well. She made sure that she confirmed that there was no rush, so the false dragon could take her time. Kisara was certain the the three of them would have taken down all the Fangire by the time the false dragon showed up.
"I wonder when these things will finally- AAHH!" Kisara screamed as a Fangire managed to catch her with its blade, cutting a gash into her arm, she wheel around, stabbing the beast in the head, and started being more cautious as she continued to shred enemy ranks.

The Kamen Rider looked to see various limbs and Fangire flying into the air behind him. He knew that Garrett was to the right of him, but who was this newcomer? It didn't matter since they were whooping Fangire a##. The Kamen rider yells to Garrett, "There's a lot of them! But think I can cut a lot of them down!"
Here is goes.... Kiva then takes the Dogga Hammer and holds it in front of himself. He holds in front of Kivatt's mouth.
DOGGA BITE!!
Kiva bites down on the staff of the hammer, a purple glow flowing over the weapon. Kiva then holds up the weapon, the moon suddenly glowing with a purple aura. The hammer's staff sticks into the ground and the Kamen Rider then turns a lock, the hand that created the hammer part slowly opening. An eyeball twitched and looked around as the hand opened. A gigantic hologram like fist floats over Kiva's hammer. Kiva then swings the hammer around his head, knocking dozens of Fangire into that an instantly making them shatter. Kiva then spins around, wiping out tons and tons of Fangire out. Kiva then swings the hammer above his head, and then makes it smash into the earth.
The ground bursts and crumbles, pieces of "glass" shards fly into the air. The slowly then fall to the ground, making it seem rain rainbow glass pieces.
Kiva then lifts the Hammer onto his shoulder. Popping his neck and beats his chest in triumph. "No just 25 left." Kiva grunts in a caveman like fashion.
