Mikarage nodded in understanding, and once more closed his eyes, utilizing the telepathic ability that his other self was allowing him to use.
It took a few minutes again, but Mikarage again nodded.
"She's delighted to come, and as we speak is already flying here. In the next five minutes, she will arrive."
True to the mist's words, the black wyrmling landed at the hot springs after five minutes, glancing at Daralog, and tilting her head, noting that he was much smaller then before.
"Long time no see... huh?" Cynder asked.

Daralog nodded, smiling again.
"To me, it's only seemed like a week or so, really."
Twin bursts of acrid mist puffed out of his nose, and he grunted at the occurence.
"It's good to see you, Cynder. How've you been doing since our conversation? Better, I hope?" He asked.
His tail swayed through the water, and he thought to himself with a disgruntled scowl,
Ugh... this size makes everything seem... bigger.

"Much better... Thank you... Though I still have a bit of problems with some one... Not sure if you know who it is or not." Cynder replied. Noting Daralog's scowl, she asked, "Miss being tall?"
Mikarage laughed good-naturedly at that, and 'stepped' away to the edge of the hotsprings, leaving the two to converse amongst themselves.

Still scowling, he nodded.
"Yeah... but it's a demand to anyone who goes back to the Material Plane... either get a new body or alter your original in some way... luckily, I found a loophole!" He replied, smirking at the end.
He sighed, looking away, then back at Cynder.
"I assume it's your Hollow side...? Looks to me like you two've been getting along, at least." He replied to her first answer.
He scratched his head, shrugging.

Cynder rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, despite not being 'truly' evil now a days, she is still a witch when she wants to be."
"I resent that... And why are you hitting yourself?"
"Why am I-" Cynder never finished that as her fore paw came up and smacked her face, leaving her to shake her head in surprise.
"That was uncalled for..." the wyrmling growled darkly, looking away.
"There are worse ways to spend a sappy reunion like this when one isn't feeling tired..." the Hollow shot back.
"I never even knew you could do that..."
"Just goes to show you don't know everything about me."
Cynder just shook her head and sighed, "See what I mean? She's a witch at times."
"Again, I resent that."

Daralog blinked, not hearing the conversation.
"I... see..." He muttered.
He glanced to the side, then responded,
"But you still didn't answer my question. Or did you?"
He glanced back at her, muttering something below hearing level.

"I did answer it, that was my Hollow side who slapped me using my own paw. Don't ask me how she did it, I'm not at all an expert on that crazy mental stuff. I'm surprised that I haven't gone insane from all this yet." Cynder replied, only to wince as Hollow Cynder started spewing various high-pitched swears and curses at the black wyrmling, none of which she understood.
"And... right now that... would be my Hollow side... screaming bloody murder... continually... trying to give me... a migraine..." Cynder explained, wincing everytime Hollow Cynder decided to 'turn up the volume' again.

Daralog nodded slowly, replying,
"Ah. Wish there was something I could do, but I'd probably injure you in the process."
He paused, then smirked.
"Well... there is one thing..." He muttered.
He jabbed a claw at Cynder, muttering incantations under his breath. Slowly but surely, Hollow Cynder's voice seemed to be fading until it was as if someone was shouting in the distance. He grinned, asking,
"Did it work?"

Cynder blinked in surprise, and nodded.
"Yeah, it sounds like there is a good five miles between us now..." the onyx wyrmling replied.
Hollow Cynder wasn't impressed, seeing as how she couldn't do anything but sit around and glower to herself now.
Cynder mentally smirked at the Hollow in victory, "Thanks."

"Ah, no problem. You kinda learn how to deal with spirits after being one for a while..." He replied, lowering his voice at the end.
He shrugged it off, regaining his grin.
"Any other problems you need help with?" He asked, tilting his head to the side.
He pulled his heavily muscled form out of the spring, laying on the ground as he waited for an answer.

"Well... Is there any chance you've seen Solranous in Arux di Itmen? Word around here is that he died recently, and nobody can sense him. Not even his own love, who if I heard correctly, was linked to him in mind, could sense him. If he died... did he ever pay a visit to you before you came back down?" the yound dragon asked.
Mikarage visibly lurched backwards at hearing that, and started to stammer out, "I... uh... Should probably get going... soon... um... I've got important matters... to tend to..."
The mist then dispersed without giving a chance for a response.
Cynder blinked in mild confusion, "What the heck? What's gotten to him that he didn't want to be around?"

Daralog narrowed his eyes, muttering,
"He's probably nervous about the conversation subject... but to answer your question, no, I never noticed him coming into Arux di Itmen, and if he had, he didn't come to see me."
He sighed, causing the nearby ground to shake slightly.
"He's most likely alive, though. I'll bet my place in the Valley on that." He stated, closing his eyes.

Cynder blinked in surprise.
"I'm assuming you know he got dunked into lava when you make that statement. "I've always had hope that he was really alive, and is just faking his death... Why he would fake his own death though... baffles me..."
The onyx wtrmling sighed, trying to make sense of the situation that's been going on.

A short, booming laugh suddenly reverberated through the area, and Daralog smirked.
"Maybe he wants to improve without anyone knowing he's still around? The one who killed him has telepathy, youngling, so if anyone knew Solranous was alive, then he himself would know."
He placed his head next to the wyrmling, adding in a serious tone,
"We all do things that may seem strange to others in order to accomplish a goal; I know, I've done a lot of things like that. And so has my son, and a lot of people he knows. Spyro risked his life to save you before, and you thought that odd, did you not?"
((Daralog: *hides controller* What?! It gets boring up here, you know!))

((Solranous: You're not the only one who plays video games in there spare time. Thankfully I'm quick to learn Japanese. *is seen playing N64 Neon Genesis Evangelion game like an expert.* Before you ask, no, it was never released in the US. Sucky, too. For a Nintendo 64 game, its graphics are great... ARGH! Stupid MP Eva! *frowns as he glares at the screen of the alternate ending in which Unit 01 Berserks and has to take out all nine MP Evas with the Lance of Longinus. Solranous has just died in it, seeing as its on hard mode.* That was the last one too, now I've gotta start over from the beginning of that fight...
Azure: ... *cries at the unfairness of it all, having seen it on Youtube*))
Cynder held her head low, mentally scolding herself at forgetting such actions.
"Yeah... I did... at the time... it just didn't make any sense. I guess no hero makes any sense at all, huh?" the black dragoness commented.
"I was already thinking that he was trying to become more powerful... but what he could do is beyond me... He's got to have something in mind though, if he's going to these lengths."
