A New Face Around

[Azure_Ghidorah]

Solranous gave no audible reponse, and merely waved his hand, opening all the windows they would come across instantly. Looking back at the nervous anthro, the dragon asked, "Better?"

[Blaze]

"Yea, thanks bud." Blaze replied bitting his lower lip.

They reached the bathroom and Blaze entered, closing the door behind him. The half dragon shed his clothing and placed them in the sink running the water over them.

Blaze exited the shower, turning off the water, he rang the pants dry and put them on. He grabbed his shirt and sat on the toilet seat pondering.
"Hm." Blaze though again trying to remember.

"What was that all about, why did that Shive dude kill that human boy, and why 'is' that even a memory."

He stood up and turned to the mirror.

"What was the boys name?" Blaze thought harder.
He closed his eyes.

Flashback:

"The human boy was at a junkyard lying on the ground looking up at Shive.'ACK! I'm sorry I disturbed you or something! Just please don't eat me!' The boy pleaded..."


"CAMERON!!!" The anthro yelled.

His vision blurred and he passed out hitting the sink on the way down.

Minutes later his eyes opened flat black, Eko was out.

The Dark red dragon stood up dazed.

"SONNOVAbitch." Eko steamed.

"Whats his problem?""
He finished clothing himself and exited the bathroom, immediately finding Solranous.

Solranous cringed mentally upon seeing Eko, and immediately took up a much less friendly look.

"Blaze was trying to recall a memory of something. What it was, I'm not sure." Solranous growled. Eko was rather new, but already very low on Solranous' list of people he wanted to see again.

"Now... lets get one thing straight here before we go any further. Don't get any ideas about spilling blood in this house. The instant that thought crosses your mind, your head will be severed from the rest of your body. Got it?" Solranous finished, glaring at Eko.

[Blaze]

"Is that so?"

Eko, with an insane look, grind at the large dragon.

he reached down and unclipped two metal plates from his shins tossing them out of the nearest window, the plates hit the ground with such intense force it violently shook the building shattering all of the windows.

"Relax, Big Guy, for some reason Blaze seems to like you, Its been so long since iv been out without Blaze's knowing, that I just need a little workout. Thats all."

Eko looked out the near window then at Solranous.

"Would you be interested in a quick sparring match?"

Solranous blinked and Eko was gone.

"It'll be fun."

Eko yelled from outside.

Solranous snarled, and Flash Stepped out side, facing Eko. The dragon glanced at his house, and waved a hand at it. A telekinetic barrier formed all around it, making sure it wouldn't get damaged in the fight. Solranous then glared back at Eko.

"Let's make this quick... I'll let you have the first move." Solranous said, drawing his sword and igniting the blade.

[Blaze]

Eko's eyes closed and he tensed his muscles, blood veins began to show. He opened his eyes intern opening the First Gate of Ren.

"try to keep up."

He vanished warping the atmosphere and destroying the ground behind him.

he reappeared behind Solranous violently striking the back of his knee, causing him to kneel, Eko then followed up with a spinning hook kick to the back of his head, throwing Solranous several hundred feet.

Eko vanished again.

Only to get cross chopped in the neck. Eko choked from the blow, and looked around, seeing a completely unharmed, and decidedly dissappointed, Solranous.

"You don't even warrent my full speed. To me, its like your standing still at times. Hell, you didn't even hit me, but rather a clone spawned from my reiatsu, or spirit energy. Now I say to you: Try to keep up."

The dragon vanished, much like Eko had, and reappeared in front of him a nanosecond later, his fist thrusted painfully against Eko's chest...

What was confusing, is that the exact same kind of pain was exploding from the small of Eko's back at the exact same moment.

Solranous had moved fast enough to strike two different places on Eko's body at the exact same moment. The dragon Flash-Stepped again, and multiple blows were being struck against the antrho, seemingly coming from everywhere at once. Eko's defence proved futile as he was hammer punched to the ground. Solranous huffed as he appeared next to the downed dragon anthro.

"Even that wasn't my full speed, but it was pretty close. Let me let you in on a secret: Had you sparred against me, say, two weeks ago, I would be the one in your position right now."

The dragon Flash Stepped ten meters away, and beconed to the dragon anthro.

"Come, try to hit me again."

'If this is the extent of his speed, I won't need to worry about his strength, and therefore, I won't need Bankai, or even Shikai... He will need to speed up and still hit hard in order to make me worried... But if he can't... He might not survive long in Nightshade.'

[Blaze]

Eko grinned wiping the dirt from his chest.

"unfortunately, I can't open the 'Second Gate of Ren', it'll wake Blaze." Eko explained.

"But we can still have fun."

The anthro calmly stood up and looked at Solranous smiling, the ground seemed to shift wildly, breaking apart. The air around his legs became visible, Eko again vanished immediately appearing next to him still grinning.

Eko then back flipped in front of the dragon kicking him in the jaw, breaking teeth at the same time lifting him of f the ground. The dark red anthro then thew a knee into his ribs, the impact made a sonic-boom causing nearby trees to catch fire.

Eko moved with such speed it seemed he never left Solranous's side.

Solranous stood up slowly coughing blood.

"Oh, I just noticed something. The Second Gate of Ren increases my visual abilities, your 'Flash Step' leaves a trail both behind you and in front of you I cant WAIT! To spar you with it activated!." Eko paused. "AW WHY NOT!"

He clenched his fists and closed his eyes, the veins on his face began to show, Eko opened his eyes they were bright red with a black ring around were the pupal should be. They seemed to Pearce Solranous's soul.

Solranous was, to his credit, unfazed by this development.

"So you can see my Flash Step now? That's nice and all, but seeing something, and reacting to it are two completely different things, as I am abount to demonstrate."

The dragon's eyes sparkled briefly, and suddenly Eko felt that the whole world around him seemed to be weighted down. The dragon then Flash Stepped, and Eko could see it, raising his arm to block the attack, but it hadn't even begun to come up before Solranous landed the hit, sending the dark dragon anthro skidding back fifty feet, talons digging into the ground.

"You still don't have enough power to take me on at my full strength, and until you can do that, I can't even consider this a sparring session. Get this through your skull, right now, I'm toying with you. I'm not taking this fight seriously like I would against other opponents, mostly because you, as of now, don't cause enough damage to me in one move to make me worried. With any of those attacks I landed on you up 'til now, I could have decided to use my sword and cut your arm off. Hopefully this will let you get an idea of the true extent of my power."

The dragon snorted, and spat out a little more blood, Flash Stepping again. Once more, Eko found himself incapable of reacting in time, even though he had plenty of prior notice. The dragon had smashed his fist into his sparring partner's face. The anthro was then kicked up into the air, and then drop-kicked back down. Solranous landed one foot on his gut, and placed the tip of his blade to Eko's neck.

"Had I been serious in this fight, you would have been dead ten times over already." Solranous grumbled, half tempted to shoulder his sword and just walk away.

Scratch that, that's exactly what he did. Also, the world, in Eko's perspective, seemed to return to normal after Solranous' telekinetic manipulation. Solranous scoffed at the thought of not needing his released states, it was the first time in a long while that he didn't need to release his blade since he got the Shikai and Bankai states. Scratch that, he was certain there never was a time he didn't need his Shikai or Bankai. However, the dragon stopped. By now, he was certain that Eko had gotten up, and if he was feeling the other's energy correctly, he was still raring to go another round in the fight. The dragon sighed, but didn't turn back around.

"If you still want to fight, feel free to take a cheap shot," the dragon offered, knowing that, even if the wound was extreme, that he would still be able to fight with it.

[Blaze]

"I got it, and he didn't even notice." Eko said under his breath.

"AW!!" The scar anthro yelled. Blaze then exploded out enraged, the energy Destroyed the barrier around Solranous's house.

"WHAT DID HE DO?" Blazes voice cracked.

Blaze stumbled around then sat, he looked up at the large dragon walking away.

"What about the food?" Blaze layed back

"Stupid Eko, being stupid. I JUST SHOWERD OFF!" Blaze yelled to himself.

Most of his leg muscles were torn, and the after affects of the Gates being opened didn't help either. he had no visible wounds. His vision faded. Blaze was temporarily blind do to the after affects of the Second Gate.

"OH GREAT!" He added "WE WERE NEVER IN THE CONDITION TO FIGHT IN THE FIRST PLACE!"

Solranous sighed, sheathing his sword.

"I hope the two of you get stronger, or if your potential is hampered by the apparent injury, that you heal soon. If niether of these things happen, you won't survive long with the evils of Nightshade around." Solranous said. "As for your torn muscles, I can help with that." he continued, focusing. The pain from his leg muscles was quickly vanishing, replaced only by the tinglng feeling of newly restored tissue.

"Your muscles weren't that badly injured, so it was a simple task for me to completely heal them. As for your eyes... I can't do anything about that, for I know nothing of what energies cause you to be blind after the 'Second Gate of Ren' Eko spoke of."

Solranous Flash-Stepped next to Blaze, and lifted the anthro up, then Flash-Stepped back into the house, setting him down on a chair. Kisara sighed as she came into the room.

"New guy around?" Kisara asked, Solranous replied telepathically, to which she nodded.

"I'll make sure he gets a decent meal... Though... I'm not exactly trustworthy of this 'other personality' you're telling me about... Seems pretty evil..."

Solranous again replied telepathically, not letting Blaze hear anything. Kisara sighed, and nodded.

"Well... Ok... if you trust the good him enough..." There was a pause, and Kisara mulled t over one more time in her head. "You trust him, I'll trust him." she finished. Turning to Blaze, she asked, "Anything in particular you want to eat?"

[Blaze]

"Meat please." Blaze answered tapping his feet on the floor.

"I'm really sorry I lost control of Eko." He added sadly.

"At least he wasn't strong." Blaze laughed "Iv been very weak ever since I woke up under that tree were Cynder found me, that and that idiot Eko opened the Gates ALL WRONG! He practically THREW them open."

Blaze crossed his arms and closed his milky white eyes.

"Well, at least I trained for this blindness thing." he calmly smiled

"Oh be right back, I need my training weights" The anthro stood up and Flash-Stepped out side immediately hitting a building.

"OH CRAP!" Blaze screamed

".......UH SOLRANOUS! WHAT DID YOU DO AFTER EKO OPENED THE SECOND GATE?" He yelled in a worried tone.

[Talon]

"Run into my house again, and you'll be eating that wall." Garrett's voice hissed from nearby.

Had Blaze the ability to see, he would've spotted the Guyver on the roof of the building he had just run into. He was beating a sparring pole atop his roof, a headphone placed in his right ear. Parts of the poles used to represent the pole's arms were beginning to chip away from the force of the teen's blows, although the back of his hands were raw and bleeding. He was panting, wearing his usual jeans and a sweat-soaked white tanktop. He was panting as he hit 'Pause' on the MP3 in his pocket, then leaned over the roof, glaring down at Blaze.

His bloodied fingers drummed on the roof's edge, and he growled,

"I suggest you pry yourself out of that wall and leave, now."

[Blaze]

Blaze pried him self from the building and walked away then stopped. He then snapped his fingers listening carefully, and walked over to the plates, knowing exactly where they are. Blaze clipped them on, then Flash-Stepped into the house hitting the chair falling next to Kisara, still waiting for an answer from Solranous.

Solranous blinked as Blaze performed the Flash Step.

"What the hell? I thought one needed reiatsu in order to Flash Step... Or does that 'Second Gate of Ren' copy the moves the user sees?" the dragon asked, completely shocked.

Kisara also blinked, just as surprised as Solranous was. She used a mag stream to pull Blaze back to his feet, then set to work making a meal for the dragon anthro.

Solranous frowned, and sat down.

'Could he copy telepathy and telekinesis too?'
