The Wrath of Fire

Some stoney cliffs began to give way as a gigantic, pulsing red crystal pushes through the earth. It's body gives off gigantic amounts of heat, melting the ground around it. Smaller crystals also begin to form, making the area glow red.

Lava beings to ooze out from under the Power Surge crystal, melting rock as it passes by. Steam rises from the ground also, the ground and air beginning to rise in temperature quickly.

The crystal then begins to blink. It almost resembles a heart beat. It also would attract...other guests to its location..

The temperature rise was no concern to him. He was resistant to essentially all elements for various reasons. Cresence grinned as he formed a hundred feet away from the crystal. His maw gaped and drooled as he hissed with sadistic delight.

"The first adjustment in my status as an unstoppable force! The first stepping stone to my desire to rule... The first step to all of they're fear. It all begins with this!" Cresence cackled running towards the crystal. As he reached it, the crystalline beast prepared to dig his claws into the crystal and steal its power before other power thirsty beings found him.

It didn't matter if they did or not, he'd absorb them if they did find him.

Nothing had found him. He was free to take it for himself. Cresence madly cackled as he slammed his claws into the crystal, sapping it of the Fire Surge.

"KAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! ALL MINE! MINE!!!! THE POWER WILL BE MINE AND MINE ALONE!!!!" The crystal's color quickly faded as Cresence took on a red hue. Another cackle tore from Cresence's throat as he finished absorbing the Fire Surge, and then absorbed the crystal into his mass, leaving no trace of it. The crystalline life form then shot into the air with all speed.
