The Surging Darkness

(Monthly Campaign)

Galion, Great Mazinger, and Solranous arrive inside of the Prism Valley. The landscape is extremely vast and full of crystals that glowed with colors. Some of them were shaped like trees and rocks. Like they were part of the land.

Great Mazinger looks around at the glowing crystals. He breaks off a piece of a "crystal tree" and scans it. "This is loaded with radiation. Normal being can't take this much..." Great Mazinger computes.

Galion transforms into his GaiGar form and turns to Solranous. "We should steer clear of the high radiated ones just in case one of us short circuts or something.." GaiGar says.

Great Mazinger crushes the crystal in his hand and then runs forwards. He rockets past GaiGar and Solranous. GaiGar tries to grab a hold of Great Mazinger but misses.

"WAIT!! DON'T GO ANY-" Suddenly Great Mazinger falls straight though a patch of crystals and lands on his face. He yelps in pain as he yanks a small crystal from his head. "GAAH! THAT HURT!!" He growls.

He looks up to see a gigantic crystal building. It was shaped almost exactly like a mansion. Great Mazinger stands up and dusts himself off. "Hey! I found something!"

"Found something?" Solranous muttered, carefully picking his way in the crystal valley, before gliding down to Great Mazinger's position, and staring at the mansion with surprise.

"If that isn't something worth investigating, I don't know what is, but, as I previously stated, we must pick our steps with caution, one wrong move, and a crystal in your head will be the least of your worries." Solranous grunted, carefully stepping his way across again, then pausing, backing up, unsure if there was a trap and waiting for one of the robots to scan for any.

It felt them on the surface. It saw them through the crystals they walked among. It felt pain as a piece of crystal was crushed. It laughed unnoticed as the foolish machine threw caution to the wind. It curiously observed as the sole organic amongst them, a dragon, carefully waded through the valley of beautiful but deadly crystal.

Solranous shivered, that was never a good sign.

"Does anybody feel like these gems are... alive?"

((Azure, I need to use Solranous if that is okay.))

GaiGar glanced at a cluster of crystals and raise an eyebrow. "Yes...they are alive." GaiGar then walks over and touches the "plant crystal". Its energy signature was familiar somehow.

GaiGar stood up and looked back to the dragon. "Yes, and the energies they are giving off are very familiar. I can't pin down where they are from, but it is familiar. We should take extreme caution here. Causing a wreck without a cause will-"

GaiGar was interrupted by a gigantic "SNAP!". Great Mazinger ripped the doors of the mansion right off and threw them away. "SCREW THAT!! I'M FINDING MY BROTHER!!" The mech roars and he charges into the building.

GaiGar slaps his forehead and rubs his eyes. "*sigh* How come when I say 'stay calm and think' does he go off and do his own thing..." he mutters, "I guess we go after him." He charges off to where the machine disappeared.

Solranous follows the machine into the dark mansion. Inside, the building looks like a normal mansion. No crystals show or anything is made of crystal. Great Mazinger looks around, still looking for pathway to get to his brother.

GaiGar looks around. "This isn't right...." GaiGar then suddenly sees the entire room go dark and is not able to see anything. Solranous tries to search through the darkness, but can't. The three then feel like handcuffs are attached to their hands and suddenly feel their energy/reiatsu being drained.

They are all shocked by a tremendous force and they all fall to their knees. The room lights slightly and a pair of red eyes are see.

"I'm sooo glad you could drop by..." a computerized voice growls evilly to the group.

[Azure_Ghidorah]

"GRAGH!" Solranous bellowed, fighting against his restraints fervently. With the minimal light, and his dragon eyes, he could see perfectly, and was trying to gnaw the chains between the two halves, with only minimal success. Worse, he was becoming weaker with each passing second.

'No, No, NO! It won't end here! I won't allow it to end here!' Solranous growled to himself, redoubling his efforts and using every viable way of shredding the hand cuffs placed on him. Absent-mindedly, he wondered how much preparation's they went through. Were they expecting the dragon to be with the robots? It seemed to be the only plausible solution to the mystery, if they knew to create a trap that could drain his reiatsu...

He was feeling tired again, just like when those Scourge creatures drained him of his life force...

And Myrr, how their 'leader' wounded her so badly, nearly dying...

"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" the dragon bellowed, forcing himself to his feet as he once more tried to shatter the chains that bound him and sapped him of his strength.

THen the cuffs regenerated and the clamped down harder onto Solranous' hands. He felt a gigantic shock go straight through him. His body was smoking from the shock blast.

"SOLRANOUS!!" Great Mazinger yells. He glares at the pair of eyes that looked upon them. "YOU BASTAAAARD!!!" He tries to rip the cuffs off his hands, but feels like his arms are being crushed completely. He falls down and his head hits the ground. He pants in pain as a shock is sent through him.

"Please, don't try to release yourselves. I don't want my...guests to die this quickly." The voice hisses in a all to familiar tone.

GaiGar roars at the voice. "WHO ARE YOU?! WHERE IS MAZINKAISER?!?!"

"Now, now...one step at a time King of Braves..." the voice laughs. The floor suddenly begins to move and the pair of eyes fade away. They are all still surrounded by darkness. The group moves to a glass window that shows a huge laboratory. The light from the lab lights the path and the group is able to see again.

The lab his tons of crystal fragments are being tested in test tubes and computers run diagnostics of them.

"You know, I'm surprised you haven't figured out who I am..." the voice returns.

[Talon]

Meanwhile, outside of the mansion, a pair of droids stood, unimpressed.

"Feh. It's got nothin' on our place." Spite muttered.

O'Malley scoffed, then shook his head.

"Troops, ready yourselves and hold your positions." He stated while pressing an area on the side of his head.

He receieved a confermation, then he and the dragon-shaped bot headed for the front door, busting it down, only to watch it re-form.

"That was... wierd." Spite commented.

"I feel it will only get wierder..." O'Malley muttered.

The two then set off, exploring the strange strucutre, unaware the others were trapped somewhere in its confines.

It didn't stay that way for long, as a roar of anger shook its way through the entire mansion. Solranous howled angrily as his scales and internal organs smoked.

"damn YOU! WHAT THE F*** DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!? I SWEAR, IF YOUR GOING TO USE THOSE CRYSTALS AS WEAPONS, I AM GOING TO REMODEL THAT FACE OF YOURS SO MUCH YOUR LACKIES WON'T RECOGNIZE YOU!!!"

The bellow was quite serious, as Solranous fake-lunged at the other being, snapping his jaws hard enough that it made GaiGar and Great Mazinger temporarily wonder how his fangs didn't break from the force. The dragon backed up to where he was before, still snarling at the being who so seemingly flawlessly trapped them.

(OOC: Sorry about forgetting what you asked, Fred, but sure, as long as he doesn't die... >.> I don't think you are going to do that, but I just want to say it anyways.)

[Talon]

O'Malley and Spite paused, then turned to eachother simultaneously and stated,

"Solranous is pissed."

They nodded, then O'Malley activated a tracking beacon he had placed on mazinger while repairing him, then began to follow the signal to it's source as Spite's Plasma Cannons clicked to life, ready to charge whenever ready.

"I don't like this place... one of the freaks could create crystals at will..." O'Malley recalled.

But he's not the one I'm here for... He thought, recalling the demon who had amaged him so easily.

FUZEN. WILL. DIE. O'Malley mentally growled.

Spite glanced at him out of the corner of his optic, then shook his head, trying not to laugh.

Didn't know droids could have bloodlust... then again, it is O'Malley... Spite thought.

The two stopped at where the source came from, but... it was just the middle of a room.

"damnit. i guess they're under it." O'Malley muttered, checking his radar.

His train of thought was interuppted by a small explosion of green energy. A hole was blown in the hole, and O'Mally brushed the debris off as Spite's Plasma Cannons slid back into place.

"Subtle much?" He asked his brother.

Spite laughed, then the two jumped into the laboratory.

"What... the hell?" Spite muttered.

"Oh, what lovely rage you have there Solranous. I think one of my wires broke from that." The voice hisses with a computerized tone. Then, it noticed that O'Mally and Spite has broken into the lab. The eyes of the voice narrowed and it hissed.

Suddenly, O'Mally and Spite were grabbed by the throat and were shoved through the glass and to the wall were the group stood. They were lifted into the air with gigantic force and were pinned to the wall.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't Maggot One and Maggot Two." Fuzen scoffs. His grip strengthens more and his eyes narrow.

Three other figures step out from the darkness and walk towards Fuzen. One looked female, the other hovered above the ground, and the last was gigantic and towered over them. They looked back at the group.

GaiGar struggles to break free of his bonds. "GRAAAH!! WHO ARE YOU?!?! IF YOU HURT THEM, I"LL SLAUGHTER YOU!!" He roars at the mysterious voice.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA....I love to see people suffer deeply. Especially if they are organic lovers." The computerized voice mocks.

GaiGar's eye flare up with rage and he stands up and roars. "YOU bastard!!! I'LL DESTROY YOU WITH ONE BLOW!!"

The voice fell silent again. The eyes of the voice narrowed. "Of course you could. Especially in the state that I'm in. You did this to me. I've become a crippled machine. I was the strongest thing to ever walk this Earth and then you crushed my body!!!!"

GaiGar's eyes widened. He remembered this voice. "No...no...no no no. It can't be...." He mutters.

"But...it is..." the voice hisses. Then the pair of eyes came forwards from the darkness. It was actually a machine's head that was attached to many wires and cables that were to the ceiling. Half of its face was smashed to bits and revealed the skeleton like metal in the face. The other side of the face was perfectly normal. And it was all too familiar.

"It....it can't be..." GaiGar gasps, "You're......TEUFEL!!!"

[Talon]

O'Malley's eye narrowed for a second, then... he did something very rare to him...

He laughed.

At first it was small, then it rose intensity until it reverberated off of the laboratory walls. Spite managed to look 'creeped out' when he looked at the derranged droid. O'Malley kept laughing darkly for a few minutes, then abruptly stopped, yet he could be felt grinning.

"Soooo... this is what the mighty Teufel has become, eh? A simple head served by a bunch of kitbashed freaks? Hmmm, well that's to be expected, what after those nanobots of mine tore you a new one..." He mocked.

His optic slid towards Fuzen, and he 'scowled'. All power went to his limb hydraulics, and he actually managed to swat Fuzen off of himself and Spite. He brushed himself off, then glanced back up at the severed head of Teufel.

"I might as well give you a reason to talk, so... how'd ya do it? Hmm? How'd you come back after GaoGaiGar and my nanobot-virus swept the floor with your crab-ass?" He asked.

He placed the tips of his claws together and cocked his head 'innocently' as he waited for a response.

Soon? Spite asked via AI.

Soon, yes. This will be most satisfying... O'Malley responded, never losing his current composure.

Teufel laughs at O'Mally's statements. Teufel smirks at the machine and hisses back.

"HAHA!! You are still the same O'Mally as before. Stupid and blind...." Teufel hisses. Suddenly Sentinel, the bigger machine, takes his hands and smashes them on the sides of O'Mally's head. O'Mally falls to his knees and sparks fly from his head.

The hovering machine then points his finger at Spite. "A temporary petrifying spell will do for you..." he says. Then the machine shoots a bolt of blood lightening at Spite. The good machine's body then begins to slowly petrify like old wood. The magic stops covering his body at his neck. Spite cannot move for now.

Fuzen then walks up to O'Mally and kicks him in the face. "Feh, that was pathetic..." he barks.

"So, it seems you have a partner now eh? Did you realize you're too weak to fight alone?" Teufel hisses, "I'll tell you why I survived. You see, since I absorbed the G-Stone that controlled the Earth's life force, I was connected with Earth. And when GaoGaiGar ripped my core out and crushed it, there were still parts of me within the Earth. It was only a small part of armor, but in only a few months, I regenerated into the form I am in today."

Teufel's eyes narrowed. "But that isn't all. After my old body's destruction, this Prism Valley emerged from my grave. The crystals in this valley have enormous amounts of radiation. And this radiation can be put to very good use. They enhance a specific trait depending on their color. They could also change the physical appearance of a being, whether organic or non-organic."

Then Teufel turned towards Fuzen and the other three machines. "That is why I created these four. The first ever crystal formed machines."

Sentinel stepped forwards and crossed his arms. "Sentinel has gigantic amounts of power stored in his body. His physical attributes are off the charts. He has the power to lift a skyscraper with just one arm." Teufel says.

Then the hovering machine steps forwards. "Zauberer can cast a gigantic amount of magic. His attacks are the same crystals that fuel this valley. His magic is on par with a diety's." Teufel says.

Then the female looking machine steps forwards. "Zeit has the power to control time and space. She can stop time in a flash and then destroy an opponent, who feels every bit of pain delt to them."

Fuzen looks at Teufel and then takes his eyes away from Teufel. "I know you've met Fuzen before. So I don't think he needs an explaination..." Teufel growls.

"These four machines are the strongest ones on the planet. They will crush everything in their path without mercy. They are my...best prize as some might say.."

O'Malley staggered to his feet, laughing again.

"Machines created from crystals, eh? Interesting concept. However... you'll have to take back that last part..." He stated, 'smirking'.

Energy suddenly crackled around his form, and his eye flashed.

"Because that's a load of bullsh*t. Strongest... on the planet? NO. Not as long as there's bots like GaoGaiGar and Mazinkaiser." He growled, voice crackling from... something.

It'll wear off soon, boss. Until then, kick some ass. Spite informed O'Malley.

O'Malley nodded, his fists making audible popping sounds as he curled them into fists. The next thing anyone could tell, Fuzen had been slammed into the wall as O'Malley made a B-line for Teufel's severed head, blasting the crap out of anyone who got in his way. He paused, and just before it seemed he was going to impact Teufel, he merely flipped the head off, then bounced off of the wall next to the head.

He rocketed forward and booted Zauberer out of the air before punching Sentinel in the face with as much force as he could muster. He landed in front of GaiGar, great Mazinger, and Solranous, hissing,

"Speaking of which, what'd you excuses for scrap do with Mazinkaiser?!"

"You haven't noticed?" Teufel hisses back, "He's been here all along..." The window to the lab turned to a gigantic tank with pipes and wires coming from it. The wires and pipes were connected to a large, black crystal the glowed with a radiant energy. Mazinkaiser floated inside of the tank, wires coming from his chest and his eyes dull.

Great Mazinger stands up and yells, "BROTHER!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HIM!!" Teufel laughs at the Mazinger's cry.

"He's only being used as a fuel source for the crystal. THe crystals in this valley are supplied by the Earth's normal energy like the organic planets and animals that live on Earht. You see, the Darkness crystal requires a different energy source. It requires life force, reiatsu...any form of energy that is needed for magic or special abilities. Mazinkaiser was full of this energy...his is even greater than..." Teufel turned to GaiGar, with a horrendous smile.

"Greater than even the great, Genesic GaoGaiGar." Teufel hisses, "And all that energy that Solranous, GaiGar, and Great Mazinger have been using to break free have been fueling the Darkness crystal. Its almost laughable that you don't even know..."

Teufel's eyes flash red and he bares his fangs. "KILL, KILL, KILL THEM ALL!!!!!" He roars. Fuzen, Zeit, Sentinel, and Zauberer fly at O'Mally and Spite for an attack.

((Any one who can name the movie that Teufel got that last line from gets a cookie :3))

O'Malley merely scowled as the spell on Spite wore off. Another spurt of energy isued from his frame, and Spite asked out loud,

"Hey! Think it's time four our surprise?"

O'Malley issued a laugh so dark Satan himself would've paused.

"I believe so." He replied.

He whipped around and severed the chains that bound Great, GaiGar, and Solranous before O'Malley and Spite rushed into the air, energy crackling between their forms.

"COMBINE!!!" O'Malley roared.

A surge of energy shot out, forcing the four crystal-machines to pause in their advance. O'Malley's back-fins, wrist-blasters, and shoulder-weapons all slid into his frame as Spite seperated into multiple parts, flying around O'Malley. O'Malley threw his arms into the air as Spite's legs shifted around and attached around O'Malley's. Spite's forelegs shifted around and slid into themselves somewhat as his claws folded back onto the forearm, then attached to O'Malley's arms as a fist resembling a gauntlet emerged from both of the palms. Spite's main body slid into itself as a pair of shoulder-plates emerged from either side, the mecha-dragon's wings sliding onto the butt-end of the body. Spite's tail dettached and slid over O'malley's tail, thrashing about.

Spite's Plasma Cannons slid onto the shoulder-plates, then the entire body slid over O'Malley's upper-torso, attaching to it. Finally, Spite's neck slid into itself, forming a sort of row of plating. Spite's lower jaw slid apart as the dragon's head attached itself over O'Malley's, Spite's eyes sliding into the 'helmet' as O'Malley's visor took their place. The jaws snapped back into place around O'Malley's lower jaw, and what was once Spite's neck slid over the back of O'Malley's neck, finishing the combination.

"I AM THE WIND OF CHANGE! I AM THE HARBINGER OF DEATH! I AM TEMPEST O'MALLEY!" The super-droid roared, shaking the foundation of the structure.

Energy crackled around his form as he glared at the four bots, then, without wanring, the four were slammed into the wall next to Tefuel. O'Malley then slammed his fist through Sentinel's stomach before ripping him out of the wall and slamming him into Zeit and Zaubeber. He then grabbed Fuzen by the throat, then pulled the crystal-bot's face next to his, as O'Malley snarled,

"And you... you piss me off the most."

Fuzen then flew through the air, slamming into the ceiling, before O'Malley rocketed up and slammed his knee into the square of Fuzen's stomach, then ripped him out of the ceiling and slammed him into the ground with the force of a missile. O'Malley then folded his arms, turning his gaze to GaiGar.

"The ability to temporarily upgrade one's self greatly without reprucussions... something I picked up from a friend of mine." He stated, 'smirking'.

"Clever...very clever..." Teufel mutters, "But my machines have a transformation of their own..."

Sentinel stood up and was panting in pain. His body suddenly began to glow with a fiery red energy. "GRAAAH!! HADOU!!"

His body was engulfed in a ball of fire. There were sparks of red flying from the ball as it began to crystallize into a shell. The ball of energy was fully crystallized and then is shattered and a new being emerges. The "new" Sentinel punches his fists together and then rays of red light emerge from the machine.

"SENTINEL HADOU!!"

Then Zauberer begins to glow with a purple aura. He waves his arms as if he was casting a spell. Then he puts his fists together and roars, "HADOU!!"

The machine is engulfed in a purple ball of energy. The ball then connects to the floor with crystals as the ball crystallizes. The crystals shatter to reveal the transformed Zauberer. The machine's eyes flare up with purple energy and lightening dances around Zauberer's body.

"ZAUBERER HADOU!!"

GaiGar looks up at Tempest O'Mally. "Heh...I guess its my turn!" He says. He jumps into the air and then roars, "FINAL...FUSION!!"

His body spins in a circle and is surrounded by a green force field of energy. The GaoMachines burst through the green smoke and then begin the transformation. GaiGar's arms slide back and let the Dolphin GaoMachines to connect inside GaiGar's body. The Drill Mole GaoMachines then form the feet of the super robot. The bird GaoMachine then lands its feet on the shoulders of GaiGar (which were the Dolphin machines). GaiGar's arms form and his clawed hands shoot out with steam coming from them. A helmet shoots from GaiGar's back and lands on his head. The mouth piece forms over GaiGar's and his eyes become even more green. Long orange hair sparks to life as the transformation is complete.

Genesic GaoGaiGar glares at the other two machines. He looks back to Great Mazinger.

[glow=teal,2,300]Go. Get Mazinkaiser. This will be over in a flash![/glow][/size]

Great Mazinger nods and runs towards his brother. Suddenly Zeit lands in front of the Mazinger laughing. "Vere do you think you going.." She says sadistically to the machine.

Great Mazinger pulls out his Mazinger Blade and points it at the other machine. "I'M GOING TO SAVE MY BROTHER!!"
