Shive landed by the crater, eyes darting about constantly. He was riled up, and not sure as to why, but the only thing that mattered at the moment was finding the others.
If they're hurt, I won't know what to do... He thought.
He wasn't sure if yelling for them was a good idea; Draethik or Khimera could be anywhere nearby. So, the dragonkin decided to simply search for Mortis's scent, after he had locked onto it after smelling the amount he left behind at the Abandoned District.
Please... please be okay... He thought.

"Someone's... coming..." Myrr croaked out as she finished her meager meal, gasping heavily to try and resupply her body with oxygen, the intake being lower because of her decreased amount of blood.
"Can you say who?" Kisara asked as she finished setting Mortis' broken bones, though resources were thin, and she couldn't bind it very tightly. She had a bad feeling the bone would heal improperly unless Solranous magically appeared and set the bone correctly. That clearly wasn't going to happen any time soon, so she had to do with what little medical knowledge Solranous had time to divulge to her.
"No... I... Can't..." the half dragon replied, and laid her head back. She grimaced, fearing the worst, knowing that if Draethik or Khimera showed up, they'd be dead.
"Mom... Your... Your hand..." Myrr continued, glancing grimly to her left hand, which had started bleeding badly. Kisara looked down at it, and moaned. Onyste came by at that, offering her help in bandaging it, which she gratefully accepted. It took about seven minutes, but the wrap was soon tight enough to make a compression, yet loose enough not to cut off blood flow completely.
"Thanks." Kisara offered. Onyste nodded and moved to the side of the group, standing guard.

Shive's ears twitched. He could've sworn he heard someone talking... He glanced from side to side in the trees, fists clenching and unclenching. He'd find them, even if his life depended on it.
"Screw it, if Khimera or Draethik shows up, I'll kill 'em. MYRR! KISARA! MORTIS! ONYSTE! ARE YOU AROUND?!" He yelled.
He stepped through another group of trees, his pupils beginning to dialate from anxiety. Mortis groaned in his sleep-like state, head throbbing.
"Heard... something..." He mumbled.

Onyste's ears flicked at the yell. She glanced at Kisara, who nodded to her. The False Dragon bounded towards the source, leaving Kisara and the others to fend for themselves for a few seconds.
The False Dragon, do to the foliage she had to shove aside, didn't see Shive until the had accidentally bumped heads. Onyste shook the few stars from that, before spotting Shive, who was more or less not effected, only surprised. Onyste gave a friendly, though toothy, grin and grabbed Shive's hand in her jaws lightly, tugging in the direction she had just come from before letting go and leading him back, pausing a few seconds to see if he still kept up here and there.
The two of them soon reached Kisara's little 'campsite' and Onyste trudged around to the other side of the group, letting Shive have a full veiw of them all.

Shive's jaw dropped slightly as he viewed the 'camp'. Almost everyone was injured! Though, he admitted, it was good to see them.
"My... my god... is eveyone alright, besides the obvious?" He asked, voice heavy with concern.
His claws seemed to be giving off thin trails of blue smoke, but they were almost unnoticable.
Good lord... Mortis's back legs look disfigured... Myrr's so frail and thin... He thought, almost horrified.
If need be... there's always that... He added.
"What happened?" He asked, kneeling down.

"Draethik." Kisara hissed painfully, before elaborating.
"He somehow caught Mortis while we were all blind to it, and when he was told to give us a final goodbye, I sort of played hero and got him out of that mess, but not before a rather short altercation between us happened, in which Onyste managed to knock him out temporarily, and then I performed Mag Escape, an ancient technique that I know meant to cover one's escape with an energy screen that protects the user from view. It's also why my hand is so bloody, I used too much energy in my latest Mag Escape." She sighed, and knew Shive would go ballistic when he found out what she was about to tell him next.
"As for Myrr, Khimera got a hold of her from what I heard. Solranous just barely saved her from death. You think how she is now is bad? When Solranous saved her, she was riddled with open holes in her body. Not an inch of her wasn't stained by her own blood. She's been in a coma for five days before waking up, which is why she's so frail, she hasn't eaten or drank anything for the same period of time.

The blue 'smoke' started to spread, now coming off of his shoulders, arms, and the back of his neck. His pupils dialated as he hissed,
"I'LL TEAR THE bastardS LIMB-FROM-LIMB!!!"
The ground under him literally cracked as the air around him pressurized immensly, before Shive calmed himself and exhaled. He glanced back up at the others, and slowly smirked.
"Weeeeell... if there's any way I can help, I'll be more than glad to." He stated.
He stepped back a few feet, before his wings furled around him, then he was immersed in a soft light. He spread his wings again, revealing the angelic form he had shown to Myrr and Cynder when he returned from Celestia. He turned to Mortis first, then stepped over to the wounded wyrmling. His claws were then immersed in what appeared to be white fire, and he pressed the hands against Mortis's flank.
Within a few moments, his legs began to re-adjust themselves back into place, the bones fitting back together and sealing up again as all apparent wounds dissapated. Within the next few minutes, Mortis looked almost as good as new. The wyrmling was still asleep though, and Shive looked back at the others. He walked over to Myrr and knelt down before placing the 'flame'-shrouded claws on her stomach, asking her to be still.
Over the next half-hour or so, Myrr appeared to be recovering, while Shive... seemed to be worsening. His brow sweated, and his hands shook as he seemed to lose the ability to stay upright. After the half-hour was up, Myrr was in much better condition, but Shive wasn't as well. He turned to Kisara as the 'flames' flickered, and he pointed to her hand.
"Ya want me... to take care of... that?" He wheezed.

"Thanks for the offer... But no thanks. It's not bad enough for you to worry about." Kisara replied, but what she really wanted to say was:
'When the hell could you do THAT?'
Myrr sighed, before pulling herself back to her feet and hugging the dragonkin from behind.
"Thanks." was all Myrr said when she did so. Onyste smirked at them, before turning to Kisara.
'Ten bucks says those two will get intimate in the next week.' the False Dragon challenged. Kisara arched an eyebrow.
'Why are you making that bet?'
'Cause I can, do you agree or are you against me on this?'
'Can it you overgrown lizard, you're on.'
Myrr sighed, still clinging to Shive from behind.

Sive gasped, then shifted out of the Archon form, panting.
"damn, that takes A LOT outta me..." He muttered.
He noticed he was being hugged, and smirked as his tail wrapped around Myrr's waist. He swept his arm around and grabbed Myrr, sitting her on his lap and holding her up with an arm behind her back. His smirk deepened, letting a fang poke out.
"You're welcome." He replied, rubbing his cheek against hers.
Mortis, meanwhile, seemed to be twitching in his sleep, his facial expression showing pain as sweat ran down his forehead. He muttered something as he curled into himself, now convulsing somewhat. His sleep-speech, while not getting any more discernable, was getting longer and faster.

Kisara glanced worriedly at Mortis, "I hope he's ok."
Onyste yawned widely, drawing Kisara's attention as the False Dragon plopped down to rest. Myrr shuddered, remebering something.
"Where's... Where's dad? Where is Solranous?" she asked no one in particular, before looking Shive dead in the eye.
"Didn't he tell you where we were? It hasn't been long enough for you to search the surrounding areas, even if you flew all the time."

Shive scratched his head.
"Well... he did tell me where you were, but that was through telepathy... he told me he didn't know where he was at the moment, but he sounded worn out." He replied.
He glanced at Mortis, and his eyes widened in shock.
OH SH*T! He thought.
He leaned over and shook Mortis, pleading,
"Mortis! Wake up! Wake up! It's just a dream!"
The wyrmling was practically drenched in sweat at this point, and he was muttering so fast it seemed he would bite his tongue. Worry was now apparent on the dragonkin's face, and he roared,
"MORTIS! SNAP OUT OF IT!"
The wyrmling's voice suddenly rose.
[glow=red,2,300]PH'NGLUI MGLW'NAFH CTHULU R'LYEH WGAH'NAGL FHTAGN!!![/glow]
Shive paled instantly, then grabbed Mortis and slapped him across the face.
"WAKE UP!!!" He screamed.
Mortis jerked awake, and shook his head, wincing.
"Ow! Why'd ya hit me?!" He growled.
Shive sighed in relief.
"Er.... I know it's a lot to ask, buut... don't go to sleep for a while." He stated.
As Mortis cocked an eyebrow at Shive, the dragonkin turned to Myrr and Kisara, asking,
"Sooo... should we look for him... or what?"

Kisara and Onyste were as pale as sheets, something inside of there hearts telling them that whatever Mortis was saying could potentially bring apocalyspe to the planet. Myrr, the only one not scared witless by this first-time encounter, walked by Shive and grabbed him by the back of his collar, dragging him with her. She had dragged them to a more private place, and the hauled Shive back to his feet and made him face her.
"Solranous can wait, he's not a child who needs to be looked after, no matter how bad the situation gets, what's more pressing is the here and now. You know something about what just happened to Mortis, and your going to tell me right now. I'm not letting you leave until I know everything about what's going on with Mortis. Kisara, Onyste, Cynder, and even Solranous can be ignorant of it if you want it to be that way, but I'm going to find out whether you tell me now or I beat it out of you later."
The look on her face told him quite clearly that she intended to carry out her words if her paitience was tested.

Shive sighed, looking up at the sky, then closed his eyes.
"damnit Mortis, this was one of the reasons I wish you'd have talked to everyone..." He muttered.
"Okay, this may sound strange, even for people like us, but bear with me. Mortis's father was once possessed by a very powerful deity of corruption and madness, goes by the name of Dogolas. Mortis's dad was forced to kill thousands of innocent people until Kethon, a friend of mine, managed to break Dogolas's control over Bagan (Mortis's dad), but after realizing Bagan had killed his family, he couldn’t stand to live any longer, so Kethon took pity on him, and slain the dragon."
Shive took in a quaky breath, then continued,
"However, as informed to me by Bagan himself, Mortis may have received a bit of Dogolas's essence after being devoured by his father while Bagan was mutated. THAT is why Mortis just quoted a line of text from the Necronomicon in his sleep, THAT is why Draethik is after him, and THAT is why Mortis has a very hard time talking to people."
He crossed his arms, then paused, seeing Mortis in the distance, giving Shive a hurt look. Shive's shoulders sagged as Mortis turned away, and Shive focused back on Myrr.
"He doesn't like people finding out about his father."

"...I heard some pretty wild tales before, but that I find hard to believe. I believe it though, because we all just had a demonstration of proof here." Myrr said, then sighed, rubbing her forehead.
"I wonder if he told Cynder this already, they seem so alike. The guy's had a rough past, what with his father being possessesed... I pity the poor kid. Solranous should be able to do something to keep him out of Draethik's claws, because we all know there's only so much my mom and I can do on our own. Cynder's another viable option if she gets a hold of the Hollow and beats her... But I have a bad feeling about that black wyrmling. But either way, we need to surround him with as many allies as possible. Solranous is already willing to protect him, My dark side and I make three. You two know each other more then anybody else, so that's four... Cynder could be a fifth ally if she manages to get the Hollow under control... but I'm not sure about anybody else... Kisara, as much as I hate to say it, isn't going to be much help except to get him away from danger while we hold him off... but then that leaves the chance of her getting ambushed..."
Myrr groaned, shaking her head.
"Well... somehow we'll figure it out... or Solranous can make it easy when he finds us... Just tell him I'll help wherever I can..."
The half-dragon grinned for some reason.
"Of course, if you need me to keep him up, just let me have some marshmallows, you'll see why if I ever do get a hold of those sweets."

Shive blinked.
"Well, if it's anything like what happens when someone feeds me five gallons of that bubbly green stuff..." He muttered.
His eye twitched, and he let out a short cackle as he recalled how hyper he'd gotten. His mind was forcefully pulled back to the current situation, and he stated,
"I know he's told Cynder already. Don't ask me how, I just know it, ever since he came home late one morning in an unusually cheery mood."
He was about to continue when he paused, hearing a thudding sound in the distance. He glanced to the left, and his eyes shrank as he saw what was rushing towards them.
Xenomorphs. Lots of Xenomorphs.
The alien horde soon reached the half-dragons, but paid them no heed as they continued running towards the city, or, more precisely, the power plant. A few of the xeno's would occasionally pause, 'glancing' at Myrr's shadow and cocking their heads, before continuing on their march as they surged past Kisara and Onyste. Shive blinked as the remainder vanished from view, and the dragonkin blinked, wide-eyed. After a few minutes of baffled silence, Mortis finally spoke up.
"...WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ALL ABOUT?!"
Shive was about to tell Mortis to keep it down, when another presence caught his attention. He turned to see a single Xenomorph standing about 5 feet from Myrr, facing her shadow. It resembled a Praetorian, but it had large, serrated talons on its hands, it was slightly more muscular, and it had dusky-red muscle highlights.
It's her... it's the Queen... The Praetorian thought, as it stared at Myrr's shadow.
