((That was the point )) A loud screech came to Myrr's attention, and Shive cried out in pain, followed by the sound of blood spattering and a 'thump'. Shive was pinned to the tree by a Xenolith's tail lodged in his stomach, and the armor around the wound appeared melted. It hissed as it bit down into Shive's shoulder, earning another grunt of pain. Another Xenolith stood on either side of Shive as they shoved their claws into him, one in the side of the neck and the other in the ribs. Shive's eyes went bloodhsot as he screamed in agony, trying to thrash about but failed. Bloody foam started trickling out of his mouth as his thrashing started to die down, one of the Xenoliths ripping a chunk of flesh from Shive's leg. ((Xenoliths are vicious little SOB's))

(OOC: I'm assuming there are three.)
"Get away from him!" Myrr screeched, firing off both her blaster and her Wind Bullets signature attack at the Xenoliths. A Xenolith fell after recieving about three hundred bleeding wounds from its head and chest, and Myrr fired another burst, killing another Xenolith before they could come to their senses. The last one 'blinked' still trying to comprehend the fact that two of its bretheren were killed. It recovered its composure, and snarled, angry that a potential meal had been interupted. It charged, only to recieve a final Wind Bullet attack that forced it to stop. It dropped dead like its bretheren and Myrr quickly ran to Shive.
"Shive, are you alright?"
(OOC: I'm sure two or three Xenoliths would most likely have been too much for Myrr to handle normally, but lets just say they, uh... got caught off guard?)

((Actually, Xenoliths are rather brittle. Hence why they resort to ambush and hit-and-run tactics))
Shive shuddered and collapsed, vomiting.
"God damn nerve toxins..." He gasped.
He looked up at Myrr and forced a smile before falling flat on his face. He rolled onto his back, then remembered the Xenolith corpses. He shakily pulled himself to his feet and led Myrr away from them as quickly as he could, muttering,
"Xenolith blood becomes toxic when it's exposed to air. It gives off nasty fumes."
They went back to the clearing they were at before and Shive laid down again, panting.
"I'm-okay-I-swear." He grunted, despite the fact the dirt beneath him was turning red from the massive amounts he was leaking.

(OOC: ...Oh... Here I was thinking the were some hulking behemoths with extremely tough armored skin. -_-)
"Your obviously not alright, and there's nothing I can do with wounds this serious!" Myrr cried. With the amount of blood he was losing, he was going to die in the next few seconds, a minute if she was lucky...
And then the bleeding stopped.
"You better be thanking whatever lucky stars you have that you were born to a telekinetic father, a highly experienced one no less." Solranous' voice came through as he was spotted in the trees. He had left downtown soon after advising Grimlock to do so, and tracked Shive and Myrr here. He had yet to heal his hand, but he was hiding it under his cloak.
"Give me a few minutes, and I'll have his wounds healed as much as I can." Solranous continued before beginning to use his telekinesis again.
'damn, I got lucky.' Myrr thought to herself.

((Nope. Nocturnal assassins is all. No straight-up melee for them. And btw... cheesy pick-up line time...))
At this point, Shive had already passed out from blood loss. However, there were a few thoughts running through his mind before he did so...
These trees would make good building material... and Solranous needs a new house...
His facial expression was still one of pain, but his breaths were getting deeper and more relaxed. Two hours later, he awoke groggily, glancing around. He spotted Myrr and sat up slowly, muttering,
"I must be dead... cause I see an angel!"
He restrained laughing out loud for that one, and settled for a grin.

Myrr laughed for him. "Earth to Shive, you're still alive. Hey, that rhymes!" the half dragon replied. She glanced up to where Solranous had been resting, only to find that the dragon was gone, a note in his place. 'Hmm... curious...' Myrr thought as she flew up to get the note, she opened and read it. 'Myrr,
Sorry about leaving without notice, but I still have someone to check up on. Try to keep Mr. Psycho from being stubborn and trying to get back to his feet. He's still hurt somewhat, but that will not last. I don't know how you two managed to hit it off like that, and I may never know, but please, TRY to keep him under control... Please?
Friendly Regards, Solranous P.S. I have the feeling its safe to assume you have - *Ahem* - Tied the knot, so to speak? And without a ceramony, too. A pity that most humans look down on us as abominations, I wouldn't have minded participating in it.'Myrr blushed profusely, but there seemed to be an exta bit she hadn't read yet. 'P.P.S. No, I won't tell anyone until you feel ready, though it was rather obvious.'"Shive, it seems our little secret is out..." Myrr told the dragonkin as she flew back down to him, letter in hand.

((Shive isn't pronounced like 'chive', it sounds like 'if'. The e is silent))
Shive nodded, then did a double take, blanching. His eye twitched and he laid his head back down.
"Hmm. I see. Well, he would've found out sooner or later anyway. I mean, he is a telepath."
He glanced over at the city, and noticed the supernatural clouds were dissapating. He smirked then started to roll over when he grunted in pain.
"Ah... damnit." He muttered.
One of his wounds on his stomach had reopened, and he glanced from side to side frantically. He finally plugged the wound with his claw, making it look like he had his hand laying on his stomach. He drummed his free fingers on his stomach, trying to act nonchalantly.
"I just hope he doesn't expect kids..." He muttered silently.
He made a small whimpering sound as he recalled his last babysitting session.

(OOC: ...Oops... I... have a hard time reading anything involving that name if I try to pronouce it the right way in my mind, that's probably what happened.)
"I don't think he is. If he's anything like the Solranous I knew, he was a little worried about just having me as his daughter. Grandchildren most likely aren't very high on his list of expectations. Besides, even if we do have children, you won't have to worry about them, since I'll be taking care of them." Myrr replied, ignoring the fact that Shive was being an idiot again, and resisting the urge of mentioning the fact that she didn't want their child, or children, she had no real preference as to the exact numerical amount, (though being with Shive, she could only hope that, if they had more then one, one of them wouldn't turn out to be a 'Daedalus reincarnation'), growing up to be blood thirsty maniacs. Or 'psychos' as Solranous had referred to Shive.
"I wonder how long Solranous meant by his letter. He was also too vauge for his own good, and I can't tell if we have to wait a few more hours or a few more days..."

Shive snapped out of his horrid memory and shrugged.
I get the feeling she doesn't want kids anymore than I do... He thought, exhaling.
"Eh. You know him better than I do." He stated, reffering to Solranous's return time.
Shive sighed. He was starting to miss his friends back from where he came from lately.
I wonder what that assh*le Vazaad is doing right now... He thought sadly.
He shrugged it off and glanced around. They could manage without him. He mostly hindered their actions anyway. Shive leaned against the tree and stared at the ground, folding his arms. Still... he couldn't help but miss them...
I need to take my mind off of it. He thought.

Solranous silently landed in a strong branch above the tree Shive had leaned against, with Kisara seated on his shoulder. Normally, he would have made her stay, but she was rather insistant. Onyste had remained behind, the false dragon could take care of herself if need be.
"So, I see Shive is being stubborn again, considering I could smell the blood. Really, you should stop being so stubborn in these cases," the dragon spoke, catching the attention of both Myrr and Shive.
"Father, what was with dissappearing like that?" Myrr asked.
"Didn't I say it in the note? I had some one I needed to check up on, it was a while since we strode into battle again, so I wanted to make sure nothing bad had happened," Solranous replied. The dragon sighed to himself. Sometimes he wondered if things were going uphill or downhill, and now was one of those times.

Shive smirked when he saw Kisara on Solranous's shoulder. He glanced at the two and turned back in the direction he was facing.
"I'M the stubborn one? What would make you think that?" He asked still smirking.
He abruptly stopped, eyes widening.
HEY ASSH*LE! I need you to come to the desert, pronto! A familiar voice asked.
Why the f*** should I do what you ask me to? He asked.
Because I asked you to. And if you don't, I'll nuke the area you're in. Hell, I'm standing right next to you.
Shive's eyes widened further, and he turned his head to his left, slowly. At first, he couldn't see anything. Hakaisha pulsed, and the form of Evihs suddenly became apparent about 10 feet away. The Hollow waved, then aimed his index finger at Shive as a Cero began building.
I'll attack your friends first, then you. Now, are you willing to reconsider? And don't bother trying to tell them to leave. They can't see or hear me. Well, Solranous might, but I doubt it. Evihs hissed.
Shive's face paled.
What do you want?
Just come with me to the desert, ALONE. I'll give you an hour, but that's all.
Shive slowly nodded, and Evihs nodded in return as he dissapeared. Shive turned to the ground before him and gave it a blank stare.
He just snuck up on me like that... is he following me? And what does he want? He thought.

Solranous grimaced. He indeed noticed Evihs, but only when the Hollow had spoken to Shive.
'He obviously did not take into account my increase in power. He was leaning more towards the fact that I was not strong enough to notice him.' Solranous thought to himself.
"Shive, most of your wounds have healed sufficiently that they will not reopen easily. You must confront the Hollow. Unfortunately, he will detect the rest of us if we accompany you regardless of my cloaking, all we can do is watch from afar now. Remember, the Hollow can be defeated if you believe in yourself," the dragon growled. He hated being useless...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, a still healing Armageddon watched from Solranous' eyes, hearing the conversation between Evihs and Shive.
"Hmm, a bold move, Hollow. A bold move indeed... The question is, is it a foolish one?" Armageddon mused. This would be an interesting development...

Shive nodded and shakily stood up. He walked to the edge of the trees where a cliff lay, and he spread his wings, testing them. He nodded, and glanced back at Myrr. His shoulders sagged, and he turned back, muttering,
"Please don't follow me. Your dad will explain."
He then fell off of the cliff, only to rise back up on a thermal and head for the desert.
What the hell could he possibly want now? He's got his own body now... He pondered.

Myrr was about to ignore his words, until Solranous placed a telekinetic grip on her shoulder, halting her.
"There are some things that one must do alone. Confronting the Hollow at this point in time is one of those things Shive must do." Solranous explained, and said no more.
"...Be safe... Shive..." Myrr whispered to the wind.
