Saelia immediately phased and began to move around behind Evihs. Even he couldn't sense that...right?
While she was doing that, Thanatos stepped out in front of Martyr with all of his guns ready.
"You have no idea how long I've wanted to do this." He said. Then two rails, two grenades, a slew of plasma shots, and two jets of napalm ripped from his guns.

Evihs merely crossed his arms and laughed as the barrage of attacks passed through him, towards...
Saelia.
As Thanatos was distracted, a dark-red light began to form in the Hollow's maw. It expanded, now surrounded by crackling black energy as well. Just as Thanatos turned back, the Grand Cero blasted out and ripped away most of Thanatos's right side, including half of his head. However, he only managed to hit the Draeger's upper torso with it, so he missed the legs. As the Draeger fell to the ground. Evihs laughed,
"Heh. You can't hurt me without significant reiatsu. But I can hurt you..."
He turned back to Saelia, who managed to evade the shots. Evihs grabbed her by the throat and tossed her to the side, even while she tried to phase, but it did her no good. He turned back to Solranous and laughed,
"It seems your daughter may not be happy about this. Oh well. If she needs someone to talk to, just ask me!"

((This version of Thanatos will be up in the character section soon, I just wanted to get him right into the action.))
"Awww, I really need someone to talk to, got time?" came the most disturbed and frightening voice Evihs had ever heard. He turned around but before he could see who said it, he was hit squarely in the face, cracking his jaw, sending blood spewing everywhere, and sending him flying backwards and then skidding to form a trench crater in the street.
"Don't bother worrying about regenerating your jaw: Hellborn wounds don't heal." Then Evihs was lifted into the air by someone, and as he came to his senses he saw...Thanatos. But demonic. His right side had been replaced completely by a spiny, chitinous biological section. The armor seemed to be made of obsidian that gleamed red when light struck it. He still had his guns, but they had the armor covering much of them. His right arm had a mouth in the shoulder ((ala Nightmare from Soul Calibur)) and his forearm could split in half from between his two middle fingers to reveal another mouth. The rest of him was still a mechanical monstrosity, but it had what appeared to be tendrils that had subsequently hardened into more chitin armor weaving in and out of and wrapping around and covering many parts of him.
Evihs was tossed straight up into the air, and then when he reached the pinnacle of his height, Thanatos appeared beside him and punched him so as to crack his ribs and send him earthbound. Before he hit the earth, Thanatos appeared again, beating him skyward. This process repeated a dozen times, as Thanatos beat him back and forth between himself repeatedly. Finally, he smashed him with both fists into the ground. He stood over the crater Evihs was lying in, and looked down.
"Don't you EVER touch my wife."

((Sorry to burst yer bubble Nid, but...))
Evihs scowled, and Thanatos was flying out of the hole.
"ANY wounds can be regenerated when you're a Hollow." He growled.
He walked over and picked Thanatos up by the face, a Cero charging in his other hand.
"And by the way... I'll touch your bitch whenever I damn-well feel like it!"
The Cero fired, sending Thanatos flying and skidding across the ground. Evihs spread his arms to the side as his reiatsu flared into life, his wounds sealing shut. He walked over to Thanatos when a large gash appeared along his front, and he let out a very un-Evihs hiss. He growled and clutched at the wound, hissing,
"The bastard's fighting back. I gotta get away from his 'friends'."
He glared back at Thanatos and Solranous one last time, and another spurt of blood erupted from his shoulder.
"goddamnIT! KNOCK IT OFF!" He screamed.
He bounced into the air as his form faded away into nothingness. Hakaisha had disintergrated completely, her voice silenced.

...That didn't happen... That couldn't of happened... He wanted to believe that Thanatos didn't even bother to interfere, yet the proof was in front of his face...
Solranous couldn't even think straight long enough to go after Evihs. The tears blurred his face. Even if he could go after Evihs, he didn't know where to look. For all he knew, the Hollow could be half way across the world by now.
His maw opened to try to speak, but no words came out. He had nothing to say. Finally, the dragon drug himself back to his feet and teleported away. He couldn't confront anybody about this, least of all being Myrr. He couldn't bear the thought...
