 The Elemental Points
« Thread Started on Sept 15, 2009, 6:33pm »

Within the mountains bordering Nightshade, there are six locations that have each been tuned to a specific element. At these locations, abilities, and even creatures with the appropriate elemental subtype will be exposed to a drastic increase in power, usually up to another 100%, if they can draw upon it; those without the ability to effectively draw upon each Point’s natural energy will be granted only a 30-50% power increase. They do, however, have a limit as to how much power they can exhume in a time, and if that (enormous) limit is exceeded, the Point may burn out and lose all natural energy in its area, including the ability to produce plant matter. Because of the sheer natural power seeping from these points, the dimensional boundaries in those areas (already severely weakened by a certain portal) have the tendency to tear and repair themselves on occasion…

Not only this, but a single Elemental may be seen from time to time patrolling each of these areas, acting aggressively toward any force that my cause the Point harm in any way. If an entity were to act kindly to either the Elemental or the Point, the guardian may be more willing to speak with them freely, perhaps a retelling of all that has happened in the area recently or the like. The six points and their locations are listed below:

Fire- Dormant Crater
Water- Crystal River
Earth- Sandstone Cliffs
Air- Forest
Light- Hot Springs
Dark- Prism Valley
