Lora nodded defiantly at Kris's response.
"Yes, two days from now, center of the Abandoned District, sometime around midnight. I'll go hunt down O'Malley and get him to help. You take care, Kris." She replied.
With that, Lora continued on with her jog through the trees, biting her lip.
She could be lying, and this all an elaborate ruse... although, if it is... O'Malley's troops can handle it if any Nightpeak show up. She thought.
"People cannot ignore it when looking upon something they fear. There are two actions one can take- bowing down to that source of fear, or getting rid of the fear by getting rid of that existance."

Kris slowly walked herself out of the city. The entire time she payed no heed to what was around her. Cars, people, animals, she didn't give the slightest hint of acknowledgement to them as she went. She was that thoroughly involved with her thoughts.
"I still don't know if I can trust her. What if she's lying about letting me meet with Volk? What if she plans to eliminate me on the spot?"
She finally made her way outside the city and found a shady tree to relax under and continue her thoughts.
"I just don't know what to do. I really want to trust her but she knows what was assigned to me and that alone would be reason enough for her to eliminate me. Dammit I hate this kind of situation."
She continued thinking for sometime until she fell asleep around midday.
