The demon slowly glanced up at Chiggar and her comrade, scowling at the comment that the latter made. He sighed, then glanced to Chiggar, his faceplate snapping back into view as he muttered in an echoing, filtered voice,
"You must not have heard the news then... I died. I fell from orbit with critical injuries, one of which was a 3-foot hole in my chest. Came back as this after striking a deal with my new boss."
He spread his wings, such an action sending two streaks of blood spattering along the ground in opposite directions.
"Oh, and... don't tell anyone, I don't want them to know. If someone sees me and asks if you know me... tell them only my new name."
He rocketed off into the air, greatsword flashing as it dissapeared into one of the green spheres on his body.
"Charon..." Was the last word to echo into their minds.
"People cannot ignore it when looking upon something they fear. There are two actions one can take- bowing down to that source of fear, or getting rid of the fear by getting rid of that existance."

Seela just tilted her head in confusion, "Uhh..."
Chiggar shook her head, scowling at the night sky, "Idiot... why are you so hard to get to open up?"
The Rydrake beside her sighed, "I'm lost..."
"I don't doubt it." Chiggar finished before lumbering off. Seela waited a few more seconds, and turned to leave. However, she saw something in the corner of her eye, turned back again, only to see a shadow flitting off into the night, much to far to identify any detail
"You coming, Seela?"
"O-Oh, right, coming!" Seela called back, dismissing the figure as a figment of her imagination and running off to meet back with Chiggar.
